They work!
These things are amazing, the mouse got caught just saw a bit of the tail, but was easy to dispose, I placed more in the garage just in case.

Catches the clever mice
Had a mouse in the house that was proving difficult to catch. Tried a glue trap.. Mouse was there but left behind a bunch of hair but got away. Never saw that happen. Put other types of traps out but no joy. Mouse was avoiding the traps. Put these traps out and next day we had a mouse in the trap. These are easy to setup. One it catches a mouse you just pick up the trap and throw it away. The mouse is contained inside the trap. You don't need to see the mouse, its in its forever home.

Doesn't work
Hard to set because as soon as you bump it or try to set it down it instantly goes off. Finally got it set and next morning it says mouse caught. That's a lie. No mouse. Now it's locked and can't be reset so it's a complete waste of money. For the price I'm highly disappointed. I really don't want to murder the mouse but I can't have it in the house. I also do not want to clean up murdered mouse bits but I guess that's the only option as these things don't work at all and glue traps are just awful. Poison isn't an option because I have a dog and because I don't want a dead a mouse stuck in the wall smelling gross. I wish these worked and I wish you could reset them when they go off but there's actually no mouse inside. Ugh

Curious how it works?
I used one of these to kill a mouse in an apartment years ago, so I got more to deal with mice interested in my desktop garden in my office. Traditional snap-traps are too much spectacle, and catch-and-release isn't much of an option in downtown Philly. Let's face it, if you buy a lethal trap you are looking to ruin a mouse's day, but like me you may care about making sure the mice don't suffer. A traditional snap trap wrecks the mouse however it can and is pretty effective, but because the D-Con "No View" is covered it's hard to see how it works. So, i took one apart. The bait chamber is actually inaccessible to the mouse, and if you watch the product demo video you see they mash peanut butter AGAINST the plastic bars. There's a reason for that! Once set, the trigger is just in front of those plastic bars (when you look inside while baiting, you'll see what i mean) with a little gap underneath it. The trigger releases when it is pushed UP. That means the mouse has to poke its head through the opening and bump the trigger up, which it will do if it can start eating some of the bait. That lines its neck/head up perfectly for the plastic bar that swings around. Unlike a traditional snap trap, this trap makes sure the mouse is positioned for an instant death. In taking apart the trap, i learned something else. Let's say you set the trap and, like D-Con suggests, you put out more than one. You catch your mouse and nothing happens for awhile, so maybe you only had the one? You can unset the other traps very easily. On the bottom where you peel back to place the bait, the label continues and has a phone number for questions. In the center of that section there is a release button, just press against the label because it doesn't take much pressure. I suggest holding the top and letting it go slowly or it will scare you!The trap does what it needs to do, and in a humane, quick manner. I'm taking the one star off because some more info from the company about how this thing works would go a long way to being more effective, and the release button was a complete surprise.

Easy to set up
They work well, when they work. They trip too easy or not at all.

I can’t deal with mice, dead or alive
Well, I thought I was an independent women and could do anything. Not nice though. I got the two pack and their other trap that’s the traditional one but inclosed. I put two of each out. Got one in each in the first night. Then I realized I have to see it to release it from the traditional one. After a lot of screaming and running, I made my dad do it. This one, took me 5 or so attempts to grab it and throw it away. I was nervous that it just looked red and didn’t get anything but definitely felt the weight. I read a review that it could pop open. If deceased Mickey came flying out, I would soon follow. I have another one out and haven’t got anything but I could have got the whole gang. I do recommend the no see no touch. I popped some peanut butter in the bottom and twisted and pop. Even writing this, I’m shaking because I’m so afraid of mice and dead mice. I’d say your best option for getting rid of uninvited guests

Great product but the trap didn’t “set”
I’ve used this product before and they work excellent, but one of the traps from this seller did not work and would not ‘set’.

in theory efficient, but...
The traps were incredibly easy to set up (thus the 2*) and are easy to 'read' but one broke after only a day of being in use without anyone even touching it. The mechanism snapped back when the trap was set and the lid jumped off. The second one is still in place but we haven't caught anything yet, probably also because we're not trying to touch it much more to not also break this one. The bait compartment is relatively big and would be good to use but catching a mouse isn't done with adding bait once and waiting. Most of the time, you need to replace the bait after a few days which is impossible with these traps. The bait is only held by a thin plastic sticker on the bottom of the trap.I am sure that once a mouse has been caught, disposal is easy and will not break your heart. To get there, however, is relatively hard given that one trap did not hold up and the other one can't be properly filled again.
