After removing item from package it had a peculiar odor, placed it outside on close line and one side suned all day, took in and next day let the other side sun all day and by the second day the peculiar odor had dissipated. Used to replace insulation blanket on dishwasher.

The way it was packaged
The product was as described. Installed easily and was easy to cut. The only issue I had is the way they packaged the product they used box tape to hold the roll together and when peeling the tap off to open it up, it peeled a decent chunk of the ceramic fiber away (see photos). I was able to carefully remove the tape to use the blanket, but it definitely has some low spots from the tape.
