Another good product
I’m a fan of Ryobi +one, as a domestic user I find all their kit good. Handling a saw has become a bit tricky with old fingers, this gadget gets through branches with ease. It takes a bit of technique not to get the blade jammed but one mastered it does an excellent job.

Good quality. You need to purchase a battery if you don’t already have products in the range.
I am a fan of the Ryobi range of products because you can use the same battery across the range. They also, of course, seem to be well made. I like this pruning saw. Cordless is always great for gardening tools. It’s a nice manageable size and although not the lightest, it’s very manageable for me. If you use a bigger battery pack it will add a little more weight than the lower aH ones. Great for the lighter but unruly shrubs like the Buddleia, which do get quite thick stems over the year. The ‘jaw’ is good for making sure the branch doesn’t swing away from you while you’re cutting, which is a helpful feature. Only one pruning blade included. I think replacements are about a tenner. This works well with a 2.0aH battery but if you want a bit more power use a higher powered battery. You don’t get a huge amount of time from one charge but enough for the small jobs. It’s not cheap, and as a bare tool you will need to buy a battery if you don’t already have some products from the range. But, it is a nice and well made product.

Excellent
This is an excellent saw for pruning, but nothing over 10cm wide, but it just cuts through any branches up to that size. It has been a great help in pruning back some branches that had become too big 👍

Wish I had bought one years ago
Very useful garden tool, the clamp on the front helps a lot on smaller branches. Cuts easily through 3" branches so far, only needs 1.5ah battery to work well. Won't be without one now!

Useful tool but expensive
It’s a decent little tool. I used it to cut branches from a small tree. Sharp and powerful. It did the job. Downsides - you only get one blade and it is a bit over priced. I’m sure there are other alternatives out there which are just as effective and half the price.

Great for high-pruning young ornamental trees
Really nifty tool. Battery compatible with all the other gardening things by Ryobi.Makes a really neat clean job of branch and small bough pruning. Highly recommend to frail old gardeners like me.

Handy - not just for pruning
Have a lot of Ryobi tools which I've always found to be good, so probably a little bias. That said I think this is a real handy little machine, basically just a cordless little reciprocating saw, easy to cart around but with a change of blade will cut most things, rusted bolts, timber, etc. and no lead/ extention cables to drag around.Only downside, that clip on top that supposed to go over the branch you are cutting tends to fall off but not really a problem, hence the four for ease of use.

very happy
Used it 1st time to cut down xmas. It made life so much easier than using a saw. Easy to use.
