Examples and explanations are perfectly adequate and the theorems are clearly emphasized and well organized considering how many there are. Well suited for an introductory course in linear algebra.

Unreadable
Do not purchase this form of the textbook. Linear algebra uses a lot of matrices and the way this book formats them makes them entirely unreadable. Almost useless, wish there was a way to return.

DO NOT USE KINDLE FOR THIS
The kindle format of this book is TERRIBLE. The formatting of the text makes it impossible to understand what mathematical procedure was written in any problem! Essentially, it looks like a group of clustered numbers without any organization whatsoever! Why Amazon felt the need to reformat the book instead of just giving copies of a physical hard copy is beyond me. DON'T GET THE KINDLE VERSION!

Good for homework, terrible for learning
If your professor uses this for more than homework, god help you. Fortunately I had a professor who actually taught us something understandable, because the notation in this book is rough.

Like the other reviews say, this book is unreadable, all of the notation gets lost and nothing makes sense. Do not buy the Kindle version!

Impossible to read
The formatting is all wrong. It’s impossible to work out the exercise problems
