Mislabeled size
This fitting is 3/8 all the way around. I bought for my kitchen sink so I could hook up my refridgerator icebox 1/4 hose does not fit and the fitting does not fit the 1/4 connection under the sink.

This is not the right size female end.
Material is solid but it is clearly machine cut and they messed up with the female end and made it too big.
