Apt for making indian chais
Cannot comment on durability for the moment as it is just purchased.But it is suitable for a family of 5 people.

Superb product by Hawkins !!!!
First, the packaging was very good. No torn edges or worn out tapes. Completely new box. Second the sauce pan was crystal clear with no sctraches. Size is adequate. Not heavy at all. Good for 6 cups of tea.
