Houston, we have a winner :-)
Okay, so, my husband Doug and I have edged past 50, got our AARP membership and, what can I tell you, I slowly developed an irresistible urge to own a TV tray. So, inching myself over this point of no return, I bought this little guy to place next to Doug's favorite reading/snoozing/game-watching armchair. It was super easy to assemble, which I just did this morning. I simply pushed this bar and that bar into place and attached two screws (Allen wrench provided) and voila! I think it took me 10 minutes, 15 tops. It's adorable and I'm delighted that it's very light but so sturdy on its feet. I gave it a few semi-hard shoves once assembled, to test whether it would easily topple over if accidentally jostled, and the thing stayed standing. At the same time, it's light enough so Doug could just push or lift it out of the way. The adjustable height is another happy point, and as you can see, I adjusted it so it barely hovers over the arm of the chair. But it would take seconds to make it go lower or higher. Can I say that the dark color elevates it from the typical white ones? So I can stay in denial that I just bought a darned TV-tray? The top is solid plastic but could pass for wood at a quick glance because of its color (just don't look too closely). The pullout cup holder is a thoughtful touch, because who doesn't like a cup holder. One note for improvement, though. I don't intend to ever fold the tray up for storage, but I can see how having to first remove the bottom cross bar with an Allen wrench would not be too convenient. Nitpicking here but I would suggest to the designer that the crossbar could also be the same easy push-into-place design as the rest of the tray, instead of the current screw-on kind. But this issue isn't enough for me to take a star away, because I don't intend to fold it anyway.Doug hasn't seen it yet, because he's out volunteering this Saturday morning. But when he comes home, I won't say anything. I bet he'll just plop down, place his iPhone on top and seamlessly start using it as if it was always there next to his chair. And one week later, after using it daily, he'll suddenly say: "Hey, is this new?". And because we name everything, we'll start calling it Trey.UPDATE (April 2023): Still happy with this purchase!

Excellent tray, durable, steady; great for writing!
Excellent product, I'm using it as I type on my laptop. It's very sturdy, made of durable material, and good-looking. As a 110 lb woman, I could assemble it quickly and easily. It's the best tray table I've ever had and because of its leg construction, you can put it right up to your office chair and write easily, and comfortably.

Not the product if you need to fold!
Overall high quality for a cheaper design. A little wiggly when weighed down with anything more than a TV dinner, but still usable. Works well. Only complaint is that it doesn't fold up. The cross-brace at the bottom of the legs is bolted to the legs, and no discernable means of folding up until it is removed by tedious unscrewing. Close, but no cigar. So I re-purposed it into a bedside stand where it works well sliding under the bed. Other than that one obstacle, it would be a five star product.

Great multi use tray/laptop desk
These are great trays for kids or grown-ups. The top folds down so you can just slide the legs right under a chair or the side of the couch so they’re out of the way but accessible all the time.. my granddaughter uses it to eat snacks and play on her tablet you can raise and lower it to any size. It’s much sturdier than a TV tray. It could be used for a laptop, computer little desktop, and you can pull it as close to yourself as you need to. We have four of these we use it on movie night when we’re eating and watching a movie and when we are video calling our kids and grandkids.

Surprisingly, very good!
Easy to assemble and adjust. The range of settings is wide, but the individual steps are not very fine. The surface element can be set level or at a slant. Quite stable for a lightweight product made of metal tubing and plastic! It would be good for a meal if there's another side table handy to hold stuff while pulling this unit into place. I'd be nervous about using it to hold a drink; but it might be ok for folks with more steady hands. Computer height (for typing) will be ideal for some but not for others. Excellent for reading from a book, Kindle, or laptop computer. Your neck will thank you.

Tv dinner table
Product ia not very sturdy when cutting food. Not very easy or convenient to store away. If you're looking for tv dinner tables stick to the good old wooden ones.

Very nice TV tray table for eating, crafting, sewing, office work
I purchased this tray to use as a small sewing/craft table when sitting on my sofa. I have a separate sewing studio, but if I wanted to work inside my home, my old TV tray was inconvenient to use since it has a bar across the bottom, which got in the way of my feet/sewing pedal. Also, my old tray was wobbly and the height and angle could not be adjusted, and was difficult to store so that it would be accessible easily when I needed it. So I ordered a replacement- this Loryergo tray fits the bill for my needs. It was easy to assemble since the instructions were clear (in about 5 minutes total); a small allen wrench is included . It has 3 different adjustable angles (20 degrees down, 30 degrees up, or flat) that are simple to snap into place, and the height adjusts from 20.4 to 28 inches (6 different settings). It comes with an optional crossbar for the bottom, which I chose not to use at present so I would have more room for my feet when sewing but can be used for more stability. The tray is a sturdy black matte plastic (20.4 x 15.5 size tray table) with steel legs. It has a cup tray which slides underneath the tray when not in use. I really like the flexibility of being able to sit on the sofa and slide the legs underneath to bring the tray closer to me. My sewing machine fits on it and it is stable enough for sewing; the lack of a crossbar at the bottom allows me to use my sewing pedal without hindrance. I can also write on it, do crafts or hand sewing, or use my laptop. Since it weighs only a little over 7 pounds, it is easy for me to lift and move from one area to another. And one of my favorite features is that, when I am finished working, I can simply snap the tray down to fold it, and slide the legs under the side of the sofa, out of the way. I highly recommend this product.
