What did I do to deserve this?
I rarely write reviews because they are time consuming, and to be honest I'm really tired and lazy at the end of the day, but I had to jump on here and write a review because this company has very much earned it.Initially, I was really hesitant to order this. I had the same exact year and model and LOVED my old laptop, but alas, it was not meant to be. One night of FaceTiming with a long distance friend and three glasses of rosé paired with...I don't know, apparently I like to move my hands a lot when I'm excited? Weird, I know...and my laptop got to experience the wine, but not in a good way, and it fried. Now, I'm a Mac girl through and through. Call me trendy, extra, basic, but come on. Have you seen the screens on these things? GORGEOUS. So I wasn't going to but a middle of the road laptop. I had finished college, and I have a desktop in my office for work, so I figured I could bypass a laptop. Nope. Being salaried and a preschool director with a killer new job, I'm going to need a laptop to work from home on weekends. But we all know Apple is not budget friendly. You want a new Apple product? Cool, we're gonna need you to take out a second mortgage or work four jobs for approximately ten years. Yeah, no thanks. After window shopping, I found this beauty. Less than four hundred dollars? Excellent condition? Add to cart. Once I ordered, I realized I didn't check reviews, so off I went, and found they were very mixed. I contemplated cancelling the order, but then figured it was already put through and charged, so I might as well risk it. I am so glad I did. When it arrived, my husband immediately charged it. I got home and saw it sitting on our kitchen island in all its glory. Beautiful color, zero keyboard deficiencies, screen with zero flaws. There is a chip on the bottom right corner of the shell which is very small. You can't notice it unless you are studying it like you're back in high school biology. Installed a case, and you can barely remember it's there. So far, so good. I turned it on very hesitantly, worried that it would have a flaw on the screen, freeze, have a fan that sounded like a turbo jet, any amount of things. Nope. It runs better than my previous one. Setup was simple, my account is connected, runs like a marathon runner who has trained their entire life. I am in love. If this was laptop was a good looking man, I would run away with it. All in all, it runs beautifully and I will one hundred percent be purchasing from this company again. My daughter is going to need a laptop soon, so...take my money. All in all, I'm incredibly surprised in the best way possible. HUGE thank you to this company. I'm so happy.

Great Value for a Reliable Mac – Perfect for Everyday Use!
I purchased this renewed Early 2020 MacBook Air (Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) on March 31, 2025, and I’ve been using it daily since. For a renewed product, I’m genuinely impressed by the quality – it looks almost brand new and runs smoothly for most everyday tasks like browsing, email, streaming, and light productivity. The 13-inch display is crisp and vibrant, and the gold color gives it a sleek, premium look. Battery life has been decent so far, and the keyboard feels comfortable to type on.A few things to note:• It’s not the fastest MacBook out there, especially compared to M1/M2 models, so I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy video editing or gaming.• The fan does spin up during multitasking, but nothing extreme.Overall, this is a great budget-friendly option if you want to enjoy the Mac experience without paying full price. Solid choice for students, writers, or casual users.

Updated Review. Initially came with hardware issue, needed to be replaced
UPDATE: It's probably been over a month since I wrote my initial review. After receiving my first MacBook that came with a hardware issue, I immediately reached out to the seller to see if they would replace it. They responded immediately and said they would send me a replacement, so after sending my faulty MacBook in, my replacement came in about a week. Since then, I have had no issues with my new one and I am excited to hopefully have this one for many years!Unfortunately, I am going to need to return the one I received as there is most likely a hardware issue. I am really disappointed because I was really excited for this MacBook! I need this for school and I was planning on using this for many years but I can't spend almost $400+ for it to come broken, I don't have that kind of money. The model I received came with Catalina OS and it had a few issues such as weird frame rate stuff in browser and no sound driver. Both of these issues were fixed when I upgraded to the most recent OS, Sequioa. However, since the night I received it, I have consistently gotten the error message "Your computer was restarted because of a problem" and the error code that it sends to Apple is always the same. There is a kernel panic that I have been told is a major hardware issue and I cannot afford to replace this if the hardware fails anytime soon!I will certainly update this when the issue is resolved, because I love everything about this laptop. The screen is bright and beautiful, the keys are a wonder to press and it's super easy to use (Lifelong Mac User here).

Works Great!!
I bought one of these laptops last month and it works perfectly, great value for money! The only thing I want to add is that one time, I could hear the fan making noise from overheating (the vent didn’t appear to be blocked and it was just sitting on my desk) but it hasn’t happened since. The battery life is alright, it probably lasts around 4 hours which is a big improvement considering my last laptop lasted 2 hours or less.

Would buy again.
Switching from Windows to Apple, figured this was a good place to start. Not putting a man on the moon. Just running Quicken. Happy with switch and purchase.I have recommended to a friend.

Works good only a few scratches
The media could not be loaded. It was a bit slow at first i think mainly because i didn’t know how to use it well…but i got the hang of it i got my account on security lock so i haven’t been able to log into my apple id. it has a few scratches which is expected but it works fine and i love it!

A few things need to be fixed
I bought this for school last minute because it was the quickest and cheapest that I found. One of my keyboard buttons came stuck onto the keyboard it won’t let me press down at all it doesn’t work unless I take out that button. It does freeze a bit and runs out of battery pretty quickly. But it is good for doing any school work or for something that isn’t so serious and you don’t need an expensive computer for. It’s kind of like an iPad with a keyboard. It was refurbished so I didn’t expect it to be the greatest! Definitely think it’s good for the price I got it for though. 7/10 recommend
