I was able to get adjusted to 1 : 1.3 SWR with perfect resonance. It’s working great. What I like about this antenna besides it’s performance is I can get in and out of the parking garage every day. It makes some racket “boing” “boing” on the concrete beams but it doesn’t seem to hurt it! Slamming the door on the coax is another story I have destroyed at least one. I am trying some tape over the coax where it enters the door and have it coming in almost parallel with the weatherstripping to avoid some stress. I will avoid using that as much as possible. I did hsve to cut off 1 / 4 inch several times snd 1 /. 8 inch last.

The Wilson magnetic mount antenna they should all be sold with the stingers not separately. I had to buy a stinger for my Wilson, and I didn’t like that at all cost extra money, but they should always always shown as a pair not separately.

For all of you other reviewers who wrote in your review that this is a base without the whip, I can tell you for sure that YES, it comes with the whip.Lucky me, now I have two whips, in case one of them dies. LOL!I'll update my review once it's installed.

After attempting to tune the Little Wil and not getting decent SWR match I thought the problem was my new CB Pro-520XL not internally tuned correctly as the SWR was good in the middle (channel 20), but high on channel 1 & 40. Uniden sent a replacement CB. Same problem. Hooked up my 980SSB which is perfect SWR on a different antenna and it's the same problem. It's over a year, past warranty return so this antenna is worthless under channel 10 or above 30. Checked YouTube video's and the antenna has a problem with moisture/rain/dampness. Would not recommend buying.

I purchased this antenna to replace a K-40 but still unable to get an acceptable SWR measurement. It seems, however, that I have some bad antenna connections. Have ordered a new set of connectors from Amazon.
