Love it!
I'm in love with my Rockville one bar soundbar. First of all I will start by saying the sound from my tv is awful not good at all to the point that I can't understand what there saying when watching a movie. So I decided to give this soundbar a try not disappointed at all met all of my expectations, easy to hookup bluetooth paired right away looks like good quality made and the sound is outstanding! Now I can hear my movies and programs clearly not to mention my music with good quality sound. Love it!

Great sound!
I got a sound bar before this one and sent it back because it didn’t matter how I adjusted it the sound was tinny. It was much worse than my tv’s speaker. This sound bar sounds great! It’s also well made! Very very happy with it. I would rate it higher if I could! I don’t normally write reviews. That’s how much I like it!

Does not have the features it claims to have. Poor customer and tech support.
I was in the market for a soundbar that would turn on with the TV. My current soundbar will go to sleep after a period of inactivity, and it requires the remote or power button to wake it back up. I was in the market for a soundbar that would either NOT go to sleep or shut off until told to do so, or one that would wake up when it saw an active audio signal on the optical input. This Rockville sound bar said it has this feature. So I bought one.The unit arrived but was defective. It did not respond to the remote and the display did not work. I called their tech support line and they offered an exchange. They would not cross-ship, but they are one state over, and the first delivery took one day, so I said ok. I shipped it out on a Thursday and they received it the next day. I expected them to ship out the new one that Friday or Monday at the latest. I didn't hear anything from them for a few days, so I called them on Wednesday. They had not processed my exchange. I finally received the new unit on Saturday. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go through Amazon instead. Strike 1I unboxed the new soundbar and the display and remote both worked. I was able to connect it to my TV via the optical port and it worked. Sound was good. However, the ONE FEATURE I BOUGHT IT FOR DID NOT WORK. After more than 2 hours on the phone with them, including their tech hanging up on my, they told me this feature doesn't exist. Odd, it was listed in their product info AND in their owner's manual. Strike 2I reconfigured everything so I could connect the soundbar via HDMI and use the ARC port on the TV. Tech support PROMISED me that would work. Nope. Same issue. Sound bar goes to sleep and won't wake up with the TV. Does not turn on and off with the TV. FWIW, I tried to connect to the TV via Bluetooth and couldn't get it to pair.I tried to call their 24/7 tech support on a Saturday at noon and was told tech support was only available 9-5, M-F. They told me to call back on Monday. Another direct conflict with what is published in their owner's manual. Strike 3So I'm returning this product. It does NOT work as advertised. The owner's manual is a fabrication. Customer support is very poor. Tech support is a joke.

Definitely not 400 Watts!
#1 The power cord that came with it didn't fit; it kept falling out and also had a short but luckily I keep chargers, wires and cords (I have two suitcases full) and was able to replace it.#2 The ARC-HDMI for sound wouldn't work and could only use Bluetooth, which defeated the purpose of being in the kitchen for YouTube music. I tried every setting but it just wouldn't work with the Vizio TV.#3 This definitely is not 400 watts because it's almost as loud as my small 40 watt stereo but with deeper bass.UPDATE:This morning I switched the Fire television in the dinning-room with the Vizion TV in the kitchen and thankfully the Fire television is playing through the sound-bar! 🥳It's better this way anyways because the one now in the kitchen has voice-search and the other TV doesn't.(Makes playing YouTube music easier!)I was about to send it back for these reasons plus the fact that it's not as loud as I anticipated and adjusting sound through presets doesn't have enough mids but does deliver decent bass. It's satisfactory enough to keep because it does give a full 'big stereo' sound although I wish mid-range could go higher and it was a bit louder.UPDATE:Playing the soundbar through my phone's media-player which has a twelve-band equalizer and balancing Tone it definitely delivers a mightier punch, but again; don't expect something deafening because this cannot be 400 watts: Drop one of those zeros and that's what to expect, 60 watts if using an equalizer.Note:Sound-bar disconnects in HDMI when put on mute or changing volume on either remote and then reconnects which is annoying. When playing YouTube videos whenever commercials change to another the sound comes back on so needs muted again and disconnects again.I'm going to purchase and try using an optical cable hoping that will resolve such issue.I'll update this review once that is achieved.UDATE:Optical works much better and doesn't disconnect adjusting volume nor mute interrupted during commercial changes.Using optical also allows volume through both television and soundbar.I tried to set my TV to program to the soundbar so I could use only the television remote but this brand wasn't listed.Sound quality is also a tad-bit improved through the optical cable and for this reason I'm upgrading this review from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Muffled sound and low base
I bought this to replace a 2.1 all in one vizio soundbar I've been using for 3 years. I had them side by side and build quality is better but comparing the audio and the vizio sounded much better with deeper bass and more clear audio. I pushed the bass to 5 and adjusted the treble to various levels on the Rockville but it didn't help. Very disappointed as I expected better quality based on the description. Playing music thru bluetooth sounded like it was behind a barrier or listening through glass. It's hard to explain but the sound was not crisp/clear. Bass on the vizio was much fuller and deep. Keeping my older unit and returning this.
