Surprisingly good
For such a small antenna it pulls in signals very well.Although not designed for airband it works very well in the range which is my primary interest.

cheap stubby, flexible antennae
probably little more than a stubby flexibly dummy load, but for close range stuff, they're absolutely fine

Great antennas
Good value and work very well on a yaesu ft5d ft3d anytone 878 and many others. Good value for money and delivered quickly.

Not good coverage
Bought this to replace the original but after comparing both I've found the signal is definitely not as good as the original problely half the distance

Poor RF performance
They look and feel quite nice but you put them on a spectrum analyser and you have to wonder if they have had any RF design go into them at all. A bent paper clip would be just as well matched.I don't expect a stubby antenna to be great on range but it should at least show some attempt at being matched.

1:3.2 Not great, not terrible...
Though it is resonant on the 2m an 70cm bands, with an SWR of 1:3.2 or worse this is not something I would use on a transmitter.

Great for short distance communication.
Great for short distance and covert use. Not purchased for long distance work but for short range in busy commute environments. Bought both the BNC and SMA, versions for different handheld radios. Made easier and more comfortable to carry my radios, either in an inner pocket or on a belt clip. Worked far better than expected on both TX and RX.
