Stainless steel well built
These are great pans. I just wish the one was a little larger. But they only come in pairs like the ones I purchased. Very nice looking, well built frying pans. The small one you can actually fry three eggs in at a time. Fairly easy to clean. Like the fact, they are stainless steel. Recommend.

Not high grade stainless steel.
I'm very pleased with the two pans, but as I figured by the price it wasn't going to be high quality stainless steel and I was right. Didn't even come close to the magnet test. High grade stainless steel a magnet will not stick to it. Mid grade stainless steel a magnet will hold so so. Low grade it holds on well. the lower the grade of stainlesssteel. The better a magnet will hold. The magnet I used was a low grade magnet that holds a photo on my refrigerator. Not a strong magnet at all. It stuck nicely onto both pans. I have to say. I do love Farberware products. I grew up using them. My mom and dad received a complete set of Farberware as a wedding gift. That was in 1956. My mom still has that complete set and she still uses them everyday. A life time of use and they still look great. One cam ask for more than that. A magnet will not stick them either. I bought a complaint set of Farberware when I moved out on my own back in 1979. I still have my set. Some thing, amagnet will not stick to them. The reason I bought these 2 pans. I bought them because my original set didn't include these size pans. I have been using non stick pans for decades. I'm tried of them only lasting a short time and wanted to go back to using stainless steel pans. So I bought this set. Being low stainless steel, they still clean up easily and cook evenly. In my opinion they're very nice pans at a great price. I hope this helps. A good quality stainless steel pan is going to cost a lot more.

Farberware.
Great value. Long lasting. Have had my others for 50 years. Still in good shape. Can’t beat them for starter set and get long term use out of them. Easy to clean.

Great skillets
Like many people mentioned in their reviews, I still am using this brand of pans that I received as wedding gifts in 1963. My sauce pans and Dutch oven have lasted for all these years so when I tossed out my nonstick frying pans due to toxicity warnings and I wanted to acquire new pans, I looked to the brand I have trusted for years and bought these. I’ve had them for about two months now and have been very happy with them. In fact I want another 8” pan and I’m disappointed that they don’t carry them except as part of a set. Also, I’d like to add that I use these skillets daily, store them by hanging from a pot rack and have had no trouble whatsoever with handles being loose. Not only would I recommend them, I have recommended them.

Poor Quality Farberware Pans
bought these two pans in Nov. 2024 and after first use the 8 inch pan started failing. The inside of the pan now has black spots where the stainless steel is coming off or something. The 10 inch pan is also starting to look like that. I never cook on high heat and was so surprised that Farberware, a name I have always trusted made such a shoddy product. I did not return and am so unhappy this happened. I won't buy farberware again. So disappointed.

FARBERWARE
I just do not understand how anyone could complain about these pans...they are the greatest ever produced (that I can afford). I cleaned my cupboards out and disposed all the old and unused...well; silly me got rid of the Farberware (old) and replaced it with that diamond granite stuff. I truly did dislike that. I am older than dirt and do not cook so much...but I sent that other stuff to the secondhand store and can now say; I am a FW gal. They are so easy to clean/the bottom stays perfect, and I use gas for cooking/they are not cheaply made/if they were heavier; I could not use them. I love the "no rivet" feature on the lids and handles. You can keep your glass lids and fake wooden handles...just give me the wonderful old and dependable stainless-steel cookware. DO NOT PUT INTO THE DISHWASHER; it ruins the looks of good stainless and silver.

Not a big fan, quality not as good as old Farberware
It's nice to use stainless steel instead of nonstick cookware. But the Farberware cookware in the past seemed to be better quality. These particular pans are not nearly as stick resistant as my old stainless steel Revere Ware cookware which has lasted for many decades but is no longer made. I keep checking the bottoms of these pans to be sure the stamped labels actually say Farberware, thinking they must be knock-offs. They feel flimsier than the original Farberware pans, and stain easily, needing more scrubbing.
