The brightness matches another one
This is my replacement. The brightness matches another survived one. It is too earlier to determine how long it can last but I do trust this brand. Thanks

Great outdoor motion sensor lights but it will attract lots of bugs
When I bought my house a few months ago there were 2 motion sensor spotlights over the back door that were burned out. These new lights were easy to screw in even awkwardly being on a ladder. They are very bright and I especially like that they're water proof. The only downside and I know this is not the fault of the lights, a crazy amount of bugs are attracted to these lights. Since the spotlights are right above my door, this draws so many bugs to sit on the door and even when I'm quick a bunch get inside. (I expected bugs to be attracted to the light but not to this extreme). Spraying bug spray on the door helps but a few still sneak in. I've since learned that orange lights don't attract bugs. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I wish this was more common information since lots of people have motion lights over their doors and I had never heard of using an orange light. If anyone lives in an area with LOTS of insects and the spotlight is near a door I would consider looking into orange lights instead. For lights on the side of a house/ away from entrances then these lights will do the trick perfectly!

150 Watt equivalent is a stretch but great light otherwise
CREE Lighting Exceptional Series PAR38 Bulb, 3000K Dimmable LED Bulb, 150W + 1500 Lumens, Bright White, 1 Pack ~ $9.99Had this in use for a few weeks now in a spot I'm very familiar with and no way is this like 40% brighter than a 90 watt conventional flood... similar enough to fit the bill of 90 watts equivalent I'll give you, but 150 watt is a bit ridiculous. Aside from that it's a great flood light at a great price. Cree LEDs are always dependable also. And the particular yellow of this light has done well in the bug light department, and I'm in a fairly wooded area in PA with no shortage of bugs. And not even disappointed with the brightness because I expect the equivalency claims to be a bit overblown and act accordingly. I don't know what kind of wonky conventional bulbs they used to set their lumen comparisons... But anyway If you have an outdoor flood where you previously used somewhere in the neighborhood of an actual 90 watt flood this will be bright enough and shouldn't disappoint.

Really bright light
One of my outdoor lights was destroyed by an errant soccer ball so I got this light to replace it. This is a bright white light and puts out a nice arc of light in which I can see perfectly.Time will tell on durability, but so far it’s doing great.

Cree is the best but unfortunately no longer making LED bulbs. Stock up while you can!
My whole house is Cree LED bulbs and I've been extremely satisfied with their performance and life-span for over a decade since I converted to LED. These 3000K bulbs are slightly brighter and whiter than the 2700K variants which is pleasing to the eye and not the harsher slightly blue color of 5000K bulbs. These work great in my four recessed former-incandescent fixture setup in my higher master bedroom ceiling. I bought a spare set of four of these bulbs while they were still available for when I eventually have to swap out my existing same Cree bulbs. These bulbs won't go bad sitting in storage so all good. Buy with confidence and buy now before the stockpile in the supply system is all gone!
