If you like to have sharp knives this is the only one to use. I can slice tomatoes paper thin.

I may wind up returning this. It started off working very well, however after sharpening my knifes the coating is coming off. This then is the same as my regular sharpening steels. After using this to sharpen about 20 knifes and then also using it to keep knife sharp while using it became apparent that it did not meet my needs. I returned it to the supplier. Almost $70.00 is a lot to spend on a sharpener and not have it last as expected. No hard feelings supplier shipped quick and the return process worked well. I am awaiting my refund. I finally got some response from the dealer. They refunded me $.70 cents and claimed the rest as a restocking fee. I am still in process of trying to get a refund. I have read someplace else that another had a similar issue with a refund and re-stocking fee! Do not do business with this seller. First they do not make it clear when you purchase from them that there is a restocking fee which from what I read is against the law. Waiting. Sunday 1031/20 Stillwaiting for refund. This was Prime or A-Z. Want my money back!

I got this after I ordered a new set of knives and realized my old one was dull. I was surprised to see the new sharpener is oval and not round, but I see why they made the change. It gets my knives like razors. 5 ⭐️

Works very well. We keep all knives in this house as sharp as possible.

I have sharpened my knives with stone and round steel rod for 40 years. This puts them to shame. Takes no more than one minute to put a razor sharp edge on any knife. Amazingly excellent.
