Anandi sanitary pads for women 15 XL Pads | Biodegradable Organic pads with Disposal pouch | Certified ~100% Compostable

Excellent. I feel very comfortable using these pads. Been using them for over a year and can’t go back to any of the others ( even so called safe/ organic ones) Finally found a safe sanitary pad for my body that also doesn’t create plastic waste.

Pros: I have done a bit research on this brand and it reveals that their product is actually compostable so 5/5 for green product. I switched from commercial brands to Anandi because I was looking for a green alternative. The pad material is soft and good against the skin. No complaints on that. It is much less expensive (won't burn a hole in your wallet) as compared to other brands that offer biodegradable pads.Cons: It is not super absorbent and you may need to change more frequently than say XL pads of brand like whisper/stayfree. I could only find XL size available which is good but not suitable for very heavy flow. Different sizes are not available right now.Edit 1 : I was able to find a XXL size of this brand but its wing size is poor and does not stick well. The absorption is also not that good. You still need to change frequently. Not recommended while travelling or when you're in a place where you need to go longer hours without changing.

I've been using this brand since 2-3 years. So far, they give me peace of mind because every part of it is truly environment friendly - not just their packets. Their packaging talks about its benefits so I'll not cover those.Improvements: Until a few months/an year ago, the sticking part was so strong, the pad used to tear - but it was rare. Now, their recent batch became better and appropriately sticky.I found a small label from the company which said that any light black spots that are in a fresh pad is normal, because it is naturally occurring in its unbleached organic cotton top sheet. The company recognise this as a fact.Scope for improvement: The absorption can be a bit tricky. It can last upto 4-5 hrs with less movement and medium/heavy flow, with the feeling of dryness reducing a bit. Never had any rashes or infection. But it might not hold up if you have an active 4-5 hrs - its possible it leaks.Recommendation: I'll still recommend you to use this, or an eco-friendlier alternative if you can - we have only one earth and we're in this together. But if you're an active person with a lot of movement, this one might not be for you.

Excellent product, biodegradable.

I have been using Anandi pads for two years now! And I am going tell you my honest review.I wanted to switch to biodegradable pads for a long a time and my brother introduced me to these pads as he himself is eco friendly. I was doubtful but I hd to switch from regular plastic pads to something which can make me feel more comfy and rashfree. Initially it was little difficult as the glues didn't sticked of this brand. But after constant use I observed that these people continuously bring new pads which are much developed from the previous lot of their's.It is so refreshing and easy to use. I have become a fan of these pads. They don't give me any rash, There is no discomfort although it definitely give the feeling that you have wore something, but isn't it the righ way. Because I know there is something I am wearing and it is probably time to change.Ufff.... I have never written such long review. But this is worth it. Thank you so much Anandi, I have successfully decreased the toxin use atleast a bit.

I tried this biodegradable version of Sanitary pads for the first time..it's material is good didn't cause any rashes. But not great for very heavy flow..good if you are at home but not sure about how it would perform when you don't have access to change it at regular intervals.

These pads are good, except that the glue on the wings and the pad is not strong. The wings come off easily, and the pad folds during use.Suggestion to the manufacturer:Improve the quality of the glue.Provide a version without a disposal bag. When used at home, we can wrap the used pad in newspaper and dispose of it. The bag feels like unnecessary waste

It is a good product.comfortable and most importantly rash free.
