Very good value but needs a couple upgrades.
I was debating on whether I should get this or wait until the brushless variant went back in stock but considering how upgradeable this is I decided to buy the brushed model as I could upgrade down the line. There are ton of replacement parts on here just search 144001 to find them.I'm closer to an intermediate user and this has plenty of speed for my needs. Easily goes 30+ on the included batteries. Run time is plenty as well. You get a lot of car for the money. If you're a beginner it does have a knob on the remote to turn down the speed. Definitely work your way up specially if you haven't driven rc in a while because you will wreck it. The construction looks mostly solid with 2 flaws. Firstly the front bumper is pretty much non existent. It doesn't cover the tires and barely sticks out so even if you hit a wall flat on it doesn't offer much protection. Luckily it can be removed with 2 screws to upgrade or modify. Secondly is that the differential covers plastic and the suspension mounts to them. Took a direct hit to a front wheel which immediately snapped the diff cover. There are plenty of replacement parts on thingiverse, if you own a 3d printer, to keep this thing running but I opted to upgrade to the metal diff covers and upgrading the bumper. Also took this opportunity to add some MO2 grease. It has held up great since even after taking some bigger hits. The manual also comes with blownup diagrams of every part so you can take apart and reassemble without much hassle. The ESC does get hot to the touch but doesn't seem to affect performance. A fan would be a welcome upgrade to allow bigger batteries without worrying about it overheating but it can drain the included batteries without overheating. Also recommend replacing charger with a 2s balance charger. I read about issues with the included USB one not balancing which can damage the battery. There are options on here for under $10 that will not only charge faster but prevent unbalanced cells. You The upgradeability and repairability of this car really make the price tag worth it. With upgraded metal diff covers, and balance charger this thing is solid and a ton of fun.

Fast an FUN!
I bought 5 to use as rentals at my drag strip. They are fun for all ages. You can slow them down to a crawl for beginners or turn them up for exciting fun. Find us on TikTok or Facebook groups @FWBRC and we have the dot com. This is ready to run, straight out of the box. Just plug the battery in. Put 4 AA batteries in the remote. Turn it on, turn the car on and check the stearing. Put in on the ground and have a great time.

Este vehículo es muy rápido y también muy divertido de correr con las baterías que te bajó porque es un modelo actualizado puede llegar a 60 km por hora creo que hasta un poquito más alta trajo dos baterías su duración es como de unos 30 minutos dependiendo del uso que des, algo muy importante al comprar este horario control es ver videos en YouTube de cosas que hay que hacerle antes de usarlo, como una de ellas es engarzar el diferencial ver que todos los tornillos están apretados y que los amortiguadores tengan su aceite correspondiente pero eso es normal en cualquier auto a radio control que compres. También también algo muy importante es un vehículo de hobby o sea es un vehículo de metal el cual no es recomendado para niños pequeños y tiene una velocidad muy alta si es para un niño de 14 años en adelante o una persona mayor estará perfecto.

Very fun buggy.
Over all a great buggy! Very fast out of the box with a speed control nob. Factory parts are plastic and ended up having to replace them in the first week. Lots of upgrade parts here and very reasonably priced! My 5 year old even drove it on the low speed.

Cheap plastic holding tires and shocks together
All the pieces connecting the tires and shocks to the body are plastic. Drove it for 15mins and a little rock on the road gets kicked up and brakes the control knuckle holding the tire on. Metal pieces are sold as upgrades and takes 68 days to come off a Chinese row boat

One of the best rc cars I own.
The included batteries suck, they don’t hold a charge well. However the rc car is amazing, fast and very responsive.

Very poor customer service
I bought this car for my son a few days ago. He was very excited and wanted to use it right of way however the instructions are horrible. The English used is poor at best. Makes no sense and not clear. I decided to email the seller and ask for guidance and their reply was “ you bought it from Amazon please contact them”. I’m like what the heck? What Amazon knows about the instructions. Car is decent and fast. Hope you don’t need customer service though.
