Great Rod and Reel combo. Arrived early.
Love the feel and smooth action on this combo. Arrived a day earlier than estimated date. Came in an 8 foot long, 4 inch by 4 inch cardboard box with a rigid corner Support and packed in newspapers. Not a scratch.

Do not order from here, your pole is almost guaranteed to arrive damaged
I’m sure the pole is nice. The problem is it is shipped in a plastic bag. Mine arrived damage, scratched, pole sticking half out the bag, and almost all the eyelits were bent or broken. I returned and provided feedback and requested a replacement. Second one came the same way. I was going to do it a third time but the pole was no longer available. If you order from Abu Garcia directly the pole comes strapped to a heavy piece of cardboard that is packaged in a cardboard box. Or if you order just a rod I comes in a heavy duty round container and would be very unlikely to get damaged. Do not order from here, no way to contact seller, I can’t imagine how many poles get returned. It’s not the most expensive pole in my arsenal but it’s not the cheapest either. I called Abu Garcia directly to make them aware of the situation. Don’t order on here.

I had to order this twice since it was delivered broken the first time! It is nice and light weight. My dad loves it!

Great reel
Very nice reel and rod combo. Was a little disappointed with the first one because it came snapped in half but the second one was fine. Overall a very good price of equipment other than one thing. The Eyelit where you put a lure when storing the rod is a little finicky and bigger hooks have a tougher time getting out.
