Q: Can i use this for both phone and computer - iphone and macbook pro for ms teams video meeting/webinar?

Yes, you can use it for iOS, and Android, PC, Hyaundai cars 2017+, and Chevrolet 2012+. As long as the vehicle has Bluetooth capability. Tested on these year vehicles, and computer running Windows 8.1, iPhone XS Max, and Android Galaxy 9. Cannot confirm other model cars, nor devices, but its presumed it will work in the future versions of these brands/make/models.

Q: The connection to the actual earpiece to charge it. is it still magnetic as in the legend? i keep seeing that it charges via usb connection?

The earpiece charges when placed in the charging case. The charging case is connected to the computer through a usb connection. The magnetic portion allows the earpiece to charge standing in one end in the charging case. The earpiece can also we charged inside the charging case laying flat.

Q: Can you add a protection plan on later?

I would do the protection plan before you bought it, because it is riddled with bugs
