Whats the difference between this (s15) and the deluxe s15x?

And S15 has a tool roll with knives with ashwood handles, leather strop with a polishing compound. In both sets, the blades of the knives are the same. what compound does this kit comes from? Mine came with a bluish-greyihs one which is harder to apply

Hi there, thank you for your email. We improved our polishing compound so it has a light-green color. It works even better than a dark-green one. You need to apply it in the same way that we describe in our eBooks. Moreover, before applying our polishing compound to the leather strop, you need to apply a honing oil (just one drop and spread over the surface) and wait until it is a little bit absorbed (15-20 minutes). After that, any compound will be easier to apply and better to stick. If the compound doesn't work well, let us know and we'll send you a replacement.
