qt Modern Masters ME221 Warm Silver Metallic Paint Collection, Satin Water-Based Decorative Metallic Paint

This gives the perfect warm silver shimmer glow to a couple of paint accents in my family room.I am surprised how little paint I actually used to cover a banister and the fireplace.It's easy to use.Looks FANTASTIC!!

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a 'moonlight' type of shimmer for my dining room ceiling. I paired the warm silver with oyster to get more depth. The warm silver did turn out a bit darker and more brown than silver than I expected. I'm not sure if it's because it's reflecting the dark taupe of the walls or not, but either way, it goes perfectly and I'm very happy with the results! The paints were easy to work with and smell great-almost like vanilla!

I had purchased 3 very large (over 6’ tall) and expensive mirrors for a dressing area and was quite disappointed in the color which was a bright gold. I hung them and really didn’t like them so decided to paint them. I happened on the Modern Masters web page when searching for a metallic paint. I instantly gravitated to the Warm Silver. I watched the videos and thought I can do this and ordered the paint. It took several coats over the shiny metal surface. I could have left it at 2 coats but went for 3 and they look amazing. I then found sone art I liked but the frame was gold so I painted that. A metal wall hanging was next and I left some of the gold. Next was a set of 3 brass vases. Finally I lightly touched a dark picture frame with the paint and those pictures work beautifully. Lastly I took the oiled bronze handles off the cabinets and painted them so they match as well. The master bath and dressing area look like I ordered custom materials and all I did was paint. Next project is to get a stencil and decorate one wall. I love this paint and color. Thank you for letting me share. Now the paint has only been up for a few weeks so I cannot comment on durability but it was easy to do. And the color is amazing. It glows.

This particular color is like paint. I had purchased another that was opaque. You need to go to their website to see which strength each color is. Great product!

After 2 coats it is absolutely beautiful.

It's so warm that it's basically gold, which is what I wanted. All of the gold paints that I've tried were actually orange. Plus, this paint is so smooth and it covers a lot of wall with just a little product.

Looks fantastic! Could not be happier! A good tip for others wanting to use a metallic sheen, apply a semi gloss or gloss base coat of a similar color first. Then apply the metallic paint and you will get great results!

I love the quality of this paint. It's a bit warmer than I expected. I was hoping for something more like a pewter or a silver with a touch of warmness to it, but this doesn't feel silver at all. It was more like an old antiquish tarnish more on the brassy side. It was still very pretty, but just didn't have any hue of the silver left in it so the color unfortunately didn't work for me. I'm sure I will have other projects to use it in though!
