I found these medals to be effective for the 1-decade rosaries I make. The image is clear and the medal is not heavy but will last for a long time. I would not use this on a necklace as I don't know if it would turn the skin green or not.

These are nice little miraculous medals, perfect to attach to rosaries and brown scapulars. They are smaller medals than I think a lot of people are used to seeing, just to give you a heads up. I make a lot of rosaries and I attach one of these miraculous medals on them, as it adds a nice touch, and one gets indulgences when they say the prayer on the front of the medal "Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for uswho have recourse to thee" which is actuallywritten in latin on the medals. When I use the ones up I have now I'll definitely order more.

I used these to make my kindergarten class miraculous medal beaded bracelets for an EOY gift. Very inexpensive and great quality!! You could see the intricate details clearly and they were sturdy!!

This is Portuguese and translates to: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."Remember: the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima was in Portugal in 1917. So this may be an interesting combination for us...The text on the medal reads: "Ó MARIA CONCEBIDA SEM PECADO ROGAI POR NÓS QUE RECORREMOS A VÓS."
