I was surprised how good this was. I was worried it would taste too salty, being a boxed mix, and especially since I try to use unsalted butter in processed foods, but I forgot and used regular butter. It was creamy, smooth, cheesy, and not overly salty. It takes a little more work since you're supposed to stir it constantly in the last two minutes, but it definitely is worth the effort.

Even in New York City I enjoy the San Francisco treat. Box is fresh and always easy to prepare. Also great value

Rice A Roni has been a staple in my house for years. The Country Cheddar is really tasty and extra cheesy. I personally am not a fan of overly cheesy rice, but my kids are and at 10 & 20 years old the goal is to fill their seemingly bottomless pits of stomachs. This is my husband's go to food item when he cooks...OK...anything carb filled is his go to item. And to his credit he cooks a lot (I may not want to eat it when he cooks it because he tends to overcook everything, but he cooks so that's a win).Since I am not a fan of grocery (or any other) shopping I suppose the best thing to do is point out the obvious convenience that comes with having this delivered to my door via Prime Pantry (which if you don't have that set up yet what the heck are you waiting for?).So I will be buying this again and again because my kids like it, it's cheap and it's filling.

Just regular rice a roni

I bought this just to try it, because I was tired of plain white rice. Most important to me was that I could taste the cheese and broccoli in it. It's a great side that can go goid with other food besides chicken.
