Works perfect. Fast shipping
This was a gift for my Grandson. He loves it and plays with it in our pool a lot. I was surprise how well it works and how it would go all the way to the bottom of our 6foot deep pool, or my grandson will sit on the step and sail it around to the other end of out 28foot pool. Great range. Say all of that to say it's a great sub and we are very pleased. One note the remote is not water proof so we taught our grandson to be mindful and keep the remote out of the water. Also we found that when he would deep the sub to the bottom and let it sit. after about 10 seconds it would automatically rise to the surface using a programed auto surface. Pretty cool. Thank you!

First one was DOA but the new one I ordered is awesome
UPDATE:The seller contacted me about this and apologized. I returned the bad one and re-ordered a new one. It was worth the wait. My grandson loves it. It runs fast and has an ingenious system to dive and surface it seems to work like a fish swim bladder. I found it easy to adjust to get neutral buoyancy, not he drives it around the pool and it is is favorite toy. Response is great even at 1 meter depth. "Captain, Dive the boat" he says then dives it, drives it around and then back up.Battery life is great - over 30 minutes of play, and it charges fastHe even dropped the remote in the pool. I panicked but no need it survived the dunking.Great toy. Hopefully the bad i got first was an aberration, but this is great and I know it was not a special checked one as i ordered myself. My grandson loves itDead on arrival, refused to take a charge until I let the charger stay in for 8 hours. I closed the connector lid, the green LED came one. I put fresh batteries in the remote controller. Pressed the buttons..... the green LED on the sub flashes but the sub just sits there. It does nothing.Waste of time and money.

Not durable
This submarine stopped diving after about 2 hours of play. My kid still like it anyway but it definitely isn’t very well made.

and this did not disappoint! The instructions say it can only be used ...
All my 4 year old wanted for Christmas was a remote control submarine, and this did not disappoint! The instructions say it can only be used in clean fresh water, so no chlorinated or salt water. He’s used it in the bathtub (with no salts or soaps/bubbles), the water table, the big kitchen sink, an even my parents’ fancy hot tub that has water treated with UV light instead of any chemicals or salt. That was surely the most fun!Instructions say it can only go as deep as 1.5 Feet. It went to the bottom of the hot tub (3 Feet maybe) and came back up ok. When you press the down button, it goes to the bottom of the body of water it’s in. When you press up, it goes all the way to the surface. There is no cruising around midway underwater, it’s either at the top or the bottom.FYI I would recommend putting the remote in a plastic bag if your kid is in the water. Mine dropped the remote in the tub, of course. We put it in rice overnight and it dried out and seems to work fine, although I see some rust near the base of the antenna.UPDATE:The USB cord melted (not quite sure if it was malfunction or user error) and it looks to have a nonstandard connector to the submarine. So I contacted the company to try to get a new one. Customer service was great and I was able to purchase a new cord for $5, free shipping from China that will take a few weeks, but that’s what I’ve come to expect when getting replacement parts on kids’ toys.

does exactly what it says it does and more
Followed instructions and tips from here, made sure rubber cap was off when charging and in place when closing the hatch. tilted down to get rid of bubbles in water. Ran it for at least 15 mins and still had juice left, though trying to drain all the way before recharge (not sure if i need to).this is fun, fun little toy for the tub, pool or static water. it dives well, turns well, and is quick for the tiny little propeller in the back.

I Like This Toy In The Pool
Great fun (in my swimming pool) once you "get the hang of it". Works great, does all the remote functions well. The only problem is that you must use care when submerged, as if you exceed recommended depth, it cannot receive signal from remote. It is supposed to automatically surface when the batteries are running out, but I haven't tested that feature yet. WELL WORTH the price for fun (I'm an adult). Finally, I enjoy watching my dog chase it around the pool, and become confused when it submerges, only to have more fun when it surfaces a distance away and comes back towards her to play some more. Again, worth the money for fun value.
