I highly recommend this sandbox! it's very sturdy and easy to assemble!.so far it appears to be very durable and it is perfect for small spaces the instructions say that it will take hundred pounds of sand but you can easily get away with one 50 pound bag of sand! It was a great gift for my three year old grandson who loves playing in it! my only complaint is that it was a bit on the pricey side but that's with economy lol. ohhh and I love how it also came with shovel rake and a truck and two cute characters!

This is very small, not recommended for more than two young children tops. My two year old grandson loves it! The lid is a tad tedious to get off and put back on, but I love that it fits so tight and keeps pests and dirt out of the sand. The tools and toys that come with it are fabulous and very well made. It’s too small for my little guy to get into so no sand in his clothes to deal with and it’s the perfect size for him to reach into and play with.Recommendation to manufacturer - the little “cups” on the outside are dirt and rain collectors and should be removed. I hate having to scare frogs out of them, dig out leaves, etc and worried about mosquitos with the rainy season about to start. I’ve not figured out why they were put into the design as the little shovel and rake don’t fit into them and I can think of no other purpose for them.

It’s very small. One small child can barely fit in it. Well made and cute accessories.

My kids love this thing, worth every penny. Sturdy, holds like 100lb of sand and the lid actually works. Super easy to put together, plenty big for several toddlers to play in.

Ours came with holes in the bottom of the storage cups, so apparently that issue has been fixed. We drilled a few holes in the bottom of the main part for drainage. We filled ours with 1 bag of pea gravel. It seems very sturdy-- we've picked it up and moved it a few times with the gravel in it. My biggest "helper" even dropped one end of it about a foot onto the concrete and it didn't crack. My 4 kids-- aged 24 months to almost 10-- love our "quarry". The youngest two--aged 24 months and 4.5 years--play in it every day and we've had it for a week so far. They all like playing on the lid play space more than I expected. The lid does get gravel stuck in the cracks when it's attached for play, which makes it hard to slide apart again in the evening, but I found that I can just flick them out with a spoon handle and then it's fine. I bought some dinosaur bones to hide in there, as requested by my 9- year- old. The built- in digger is great although it does make removing and replacing the lid a little tricky because it's slightly wider than the lid opening there. ( Maybe I have yet to figure out the trick to doing it better. UPDATE: The trick is to turn the digger to the side and then slide the lid into place). It's been rained on a couple times but stayed dry inside, although getting wet is not as much of a problem with pea gravel and drainage holes. The kids all love the toys that came with it and they use the ramp formed by the lid connected.Perfect size for our apartment space. The littles can fit inside (one at a time) and the biggers can play sensory- bin style.We're very happy with our purchase and the price we paid.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was a birthday gift for my 3 yr old grandson. You can’t go wrong with the little tykes brand. Came with truck and sand toys. You can fill with water also. He loves it and so do his 8 yr old twin sisters. Little Tykes last forever and fuel imaginations. I have never been disappointed in the brand. I actually still have items that belonged to my kids and now grandkids are enjoying them. This sand box doesn’t have a huge footprint so it fits on a patio or deck and can easily be moved.

Very happy with it. Had it for several months now and has held up well. Son loves it.
