Before I bought Purell Prime Defence hand sanitizer, I read most of the reviews and understood that all bad reviews come from people who don't or can't read the description of the product properly. If it doesn't say "gel," it's not a gel; it's a kind of liquid with alcohol that is intended to effectively sanitize hands fast. Don't expect "orange scent" if it doesn't say orange scent. I can say this, this hand sanitizer is exactly what descriptions are and does exactly what suppose to do. I am not a judge for a value for money and payed whatever was asked. Highly recommend and will buy it again when time will come.

This is a great sanitizer that does not leave your hands sticky. I don’t like sanitizers that contain aloe or lotions that leave a residue. This does not and has a high alcohol content.

You get 4, 12 oz bottles of Purell prime defense, 85% alcohol. They are clear, pump bottles. I think the minimum for safety is 70% alcohol - so this is a bit stronger. I use the pump bottles to refill my purse bottles. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. Purell seems to be the gold standard, however I rated these a 4 because the top of some of them did not seat securely.I much prefer the Purell Spray bottles.

Great to use

I cannot speak highly enough of this hand sanitizer. I have bottles in my house, bathrooms, car, and even at work. I work in a pediatric clinic, so I use this ALL DAY every day and it is the only sanitizer that doesn't build up on your hands after multiple uses. The other reason that I love this sanitizer is because it is 85% alcohol - and is one of the only sanitizers on the market that actually kills norovirus (the dreaded stomch flu bug). It doesn't have a strong scent (smells like alcohol, of course, but the smell goes away quickly). It is the ONLY sanitizer that I will use at work, at home, and with my children. 100% would recommend!
