Finally, the clamp on my old test light wore out and I ordered these to replace it. It works well, but the LED bulb does not load a circuit or vary in brightness depending on the voltage like the old incandescent test light. It looks and feels good.

Does what it's supposed to
Handy little device to have for troubleshooting automotive electrical issues. Seems well made. This also works to precharge inverter capacitors. Precharging eliminates the big spark when you connect inverter cables to the battery. I'm happy with it.

I like those test light that will show that a circuit is actually having amperage, not just voltage. a volt meter may get you on a wrong diagnostic pass by showing a voltage on a circuit that does not have the punch of amperage behind it. I also like the long wire.

Absolute junk
Don't waste your time and money. Buy something else.The design and execution is terrible. Testing circuits only works when the testing tools can maintain is own path of conductivity. The bulb is supposed to press against the probe inside the barrel. However, the surface is flat and the bulb is narrow, so the bulb keeps sliding off whenever the cable moves or when trying to tighten the unit back together. I spent far more time trying to fix the tool than testing fuses.
