Does its job well
A lot of reviews have pointed this out already but this cable is very expensive for what it is. But since I was fully aware of this before getting the cable I cannot dock any stars for that. Especially since there very many options when getting this cable type.I will say that this cable is amazing, I love how bright it is and how well it stands outs, the cable is very strong and fits very snuggly into my cameras usb port. I have had this cable for about a month now and it makes tethering my Nikon d7100 to my laptop very convenient, I am happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Pro look, tight fit, durable, worth every cent
Anyone wondering if this works with a Nikon D7200 tethered to lightroom cc on a imac 2012 or mac mini 2018.One minus star, but not a deal breaker, wouldve appreciated plastic caps on the end tips. The most basic hdmi cable from china even comes with dust caps on the tips. Especially if you consider your brand as ‘pro’...Ill still leave 5 stars as it indeed still an amazing pro cable worth investing in.

Best tether cable for DSLRs. Buy it!
I ordered this cable by mistake, I needed the 5 pin mini USB. I was going to return it, then I remembered I have a camera that uses that plug. As for this cable, it is definitely the best you can buy for digital cameras. The cable is considerably thicker than any I've used before. It is perfect for shooting tethered and the orange color makes it safer to work around. Highly recommended.

I’m sure the cable works great. TERRIBLE customer service
Ok I’ll start by stating the error here was mine. I bought a usb mini cable for my camera. When it arrived I noticed the connection looked wrong. Before opening the packaging. A little more research and I realized there’s a mini 5 pin (which I needed) and and 8 pin (which I ordered). It’s amazon prime so I figured no problem I’d return and replace with the correct one. After several days and emails with tether tools they’re charging $7 to return an item. $7 to mail a perfectly in tact usb cable. So I’m returning and buying cable from an alternate manufacturer. TT you lost a a $36 sale and gained a 1 star rating for your cheap return policy. Will not buy another TT product. Buyer beware. Order carefully!

First Sample was defective and would not work with my Nikon D750, Replacement seems to work just fine!
I bought this cable for use with my Nikon D750 DSLR camera. It can be hard to find long enough cables to be used for tethered shooting, particularly those that use the USB Mini-B 8-pin connector such as that of many Nikon DSLR's. The cable Nikon includes with the D750 is only a few inches long, which isn't nearly enough for tethered shooting when you need the versatility of your camera and computer being several feet apart. When I had originally bought this cable (from Tether Tools themselves here on Amazon), the one I received did not work at all with my Nikon D750. No matter how many computers and USB ports I tried, Windows would just say "USB device not recognized." After a bit of frustration, I sent my first one back and ordered a replacement, this time from the Amazon seller Calumet.I was very pleased to see that the cable I had ordered from Calumet was working and functioning as it should using my Nikon D750. It works perfectly with Nikon's Camera Control Pro v2.23 and so far have not had any issues.Even still, this cable is waaaay overpriced considering what it is, just a USB2.0 mini-b cable. But unfortunately, there aren't really any other options in existence that are also 15 feet long. The 6-foot USB2.0 mini-b 8-pin cables from Monoprice are less than $5, so the fact that these are less than 3x the length but nearly 8x the price is absurd. These cables should not cost more than $20, but alas, what can you do when 6-feet just isn't enough room for you to tether to your laptop or desktop.

Works great for Nikon D750 with LR 6
Works great for Nikon D750 with LR 6. I plugged the cable in the the camera and the PC, turned on LR, then clicked on File then Tether and it was working. Very simple to use. Great product.

Great quality, highly visible cable for tethering
I use this for tethered shooting at events. I was using a black cable with another dSLR and had a few problems with people tripping over it. When I picked up my new dSLR, I decided to splurge on the orange cable, and in the few times I've used it, the increased visibility seems to help a little. The cable itself is great quality. It cost a little more but I don't anticipate having to replace it so it was worth it for me.

Works great with Nikon D7100 camera
Purchased to tether my notebook computer to my Nikon D7100 camera. Color is nice as it makes sure nobody will trip over it. Length is perfect for my application. My only complaint is that there is a little slop in the connection to the camera to the point that if the cord got kicked it would likely come out of the camera. Transfer speeds exactly the same as the cord that shipped with my Nikon camera.
