This is one pathetic UPS (coming from a loyal APC customer)
this review is big i know i gotta explain and help you potential buyer to know why this product is worse UPS ever in existence.( contains unprofessional stuff)Final update(hopefully): i think this is the only UPS in the universe that managed to destroy a lead-acid battery within 2 years while mostly on mains. for knowledge lead acid batteries have a shelf life 5 years if the battery is maintained at full charge. i have a suspicion that this is done intentionally to milk customers of new battery every two years or new UPS overall. Please do not support this business and support our Indian companies i had much better luck with those companies these days they come a long waysad update: normally never updated reviews for a bad product but this thing is so bad that i gotta write a update for my already sad story.UPDATEso after hating myself spending money on this trash i decided to at least use this as voltage stabilizer for my fridge coz this one has automatic voltage regulation (AVR) which surprisingly works good but there is big big catch for this feature to work. it basically fruiting consumes 40w(i have a power meter to say all this numbers) for no fruiting reason and fruiting almost fruited me in a recent disaster which lasted 3 days this thing happily converted my precious inverter battery power to 40w of heat which almost fruited me. added to this ... this one also destroys the power factor of electricity a metric that is really important when you are having limited power this one ruined my fridge power factor from 0.9 to 0.5 which further ruined the backup time of my inverter.I am super salty buying this trash and if not for amazon review guidelines i would have tomatofied the ears of the people who made this trash can, here.. please please kindly avoid this crow's waste protein at all costs and look for a better UPS or best yet buy a mini inverter they are janky but will serve you better.old review:Review after 2 yearsAs you see in the picture i have removed those bright annoying lights by opening the UPSThis has one 9AH battery YES just ONE 12V 9AH battery for a 1200VA capacity and this UPS is so darn inefficient that my Work laptop which consumes not more than 45Watts (( 12Vx9AH = 108Wh efficiency is approx a pathetic less than 20% )) lasts only 20min in this ups and gaming PC lasts a mere 30 Seconds When it was brand NEW.the real bummer is the switching speed is slow enough that it shuts down my pc which never happened on my old ups EVER making it completely useless as a UPS that's supposed to last to save stuff at least. Please avoid this product and APC ups made for India like a plague and consider a mini home ups (which is what i did) that is bulky but will serve you betterI once had a APC ups 1500VA the white tall thingy it served me for 15 years with just 1 battery replacement APC is known for their excellent UPS products but its sad that it has come to this atrocity.an 8000Rs scam.

Competent performer, but runs hot
As with all of this new series, the battery connector is unplugged on delivery and has to be manually inserted all the way into the socket to enable the UPS to power up. The lights are very green and very bright, and the UPS runs very hot. At high temperatures the battery will overheat and fill your room with the smell of hot acid.I bought a 900VA and 1200VA, the former is actively cooled with a fan pulling air through its vents. This means the internals run at about 5 degrees above ambient, which is acceptable. The 1200VA unit is a backup, but I do use for running BIOS updates and drive image backups on fairly power-intensive setups and it hasn't hiccuped on me. I did once witness both units glitch badly on power restoration from the utility line, both units sprung to life from the 'Off' position all by themselves, which shouldn't have happened.I have owned multiple APC UPS units over the years and these new Schneider units are probably the worst I've ever used, with extremely tiny batteries that don't last at all. I'll compare this to the Back-UPS Pro 1500, which I also use as the backup for my daily driver, and the BR-1000, the closest real alternative. The biggest issue with the Easy-UPS is the limited load capacity due to a poorer conversion circuit (lower PF). For this 1200VA unit, the max load is specced at 650W, which is 54% of the VA rating. The BR-1500 is 57.6%, and the BR-1000 is 60%. Even the venerable BX-1100 offered 660W of load capacity in spite of having lower VA rating, though it shipped with the same 84WH slim battery. The BR-1000/1500 come with a 24V battery pack, expandable battery capacity, a very informative LCD display, and (single-use) surge protection circuits for your LAN connections. They also have two surge protection outputs, as well as monitoring capability either by HWInfo (which detects it as a connected battery) or the APC monitoring software. This Easy UPS 1200 (and 900) offers two additional backup outlets in place of the surge-only outlets, so all six sockets offer backup instead . It has the USB port on the front, which is very handy. It is also fanless, which is a massive bonus. On the BR series, the fan is *loud* I measured it at 58dB/2m distance. It's like sitting next to a pump motor. The Easy UPS is silent, but you do sacrifice a lot of performance and backup capability with it. It's also cheaper than the BR series, so there's that.I would heed APC's warning about extension cords. The conversion circuits probably can't handle the additional inductance of any sort of cable, so as far as possible use the sockets on the back. This probably means you'll be up close and personal with the UPS and its irritatingly bright Alien-green LED lights. Enjoy!

Awesome power backup on RTX 4060 PC
Its been over a year since i have been using this ups and its awesome. Gimes me around 20 mins of gaming time with my RTX 4060 + LG 24 in monitor + 550 watt psu + Airtel fiber wifi router. after 20 mins it starts beeping fast thats when i close the game and shutdown the PC and it still gives me another 10-15 mins of backup for wifi router. When there a power cut, there is no impact on PC except the monitor blinks for a second but the PC does not restart or anything like that which is what i wanted. Go for it if you have similar requirement. 👍🏼

Great quality and price.
Works well. Gets a but warm while on but thats expected. Just browsing internet or watching movies or working using Remote desktop it gives great backup 30-40min. Since we have generator in our apartment this is more than enough. While gaming it wont give more than 10min. My PC draws probably 300-350watt max tdp at gaming. Its an MSI Trident A with i5-11400F and 3060ti. The best thing about this is that its almost dead silent while working as opposed to the 1600 model which has a fan which my roommate use and its got this annoying whine from the fan which i absolutely hate.
