So comfortable!
First thought out of the box is that these are expensive for what they are, and hard plastic - I was expecting softer rubber. Fitting instructions were good but I fitted them too flat and horizontal to start with, they need to be leaning back a bit. Included tape fits them securely, but when they are taped over with some decent thick bar tape, they are just extraordinary. I have no idea why we ride round cylindrical bars when our hands aren't shaped like legoman. These will change your level of comfort on the bike like nothing else. They look strange to start with but you quickly get to love the look. If you're thinking about it... they're worth it!!!!!

Fanastic addition to my riding
I installed the redshift upper grips about two years ago, because my hands would get quite numb over a 90 minute ride; at that time, I tended to ride almost exclusively on the hoods. The reason being is that when I dropped down to the "drops" my palms were uncomfortable with a minute with the bar feeling very obvious across my hand, and there being no way of varying the hand position. The upper grips made for a fanastic improvement and very soon you dont even know they are there, you hands thank you at the end of the ride thoughSo I was 99% hoods. But being geriatric, my shoulders were getting stiff, and so I went for the bottom grips to give me the ability to move around and get some movement going. These were a revelation. They make the drops so much more comfortable and now I have the ability to change bar position when things start seizing up. I am no Cavendish, but I want to enjoy my rides, and these little beauties are worth their weight in gold and I can spend time on the drops and pretend I am!Easy to install without the need for retaping.

Superb products, brilliantly executed
Couldn't wait to get hold of these. Bought the kitchen sink bars - one standard set for my Fairlight Secan gravel bike (already use Redshift's fantastic shock stop stem and seatpost - game changers...) and one with the add on for my Kona Explosif "monstercross" conversion, again with the shock stop stem and seatpost. These grips are are super comfortable. Superb idea and so well executed. Easy to install, tape can be a little tricky but I was reusing some which is never easy but managed a really good finish. What's next for Redshift? Saddle maybe?I love this company.

Love it, but an annoying feature.
Love Redshift and what they are doing for Gravel and Aventure road cyclists. This top bar extension is going to be brilliant to give extra hand/wrist support. One negative is that we have to apply the sticky pads ourselves. In all the online videos the sets seem to come preset with the sticky pads. Doing ourselves creates a lot of extra fuss and mess I could do without.

Excellent and easy to fit
Excellent solution to alleviate hand / wrist problems when riding ultra distance events and touring. Much better value than changing out the handlebars too.

Really helps on long sessions especially on Zwift
I use Zwift and after my first 2 hour plus ride my hands where numb. The Cruise Control items have made a massive difference to my ride comfort.

Wish I’d found these earlier
A must for a gravel bike these add so much comfort over rough ground. Simple to fit and stay in place.Only slight downside is standard length bartape only just manages to cover them and it needed a lot of electrical tape to secure at the stem end.

They work - very comfortable
They solve the fundamental problem of a hotspot on the ulnar nerve by distributing the pressure on the hand over a larger area. I could tell they worked as soon as I started riding with them.
