Digimon Complete Series DVD Collection Season 1-4 Box Set

Everything arrived in good condition, sealed, and intact. I tested it in my Xbox x and it read at least two of the disks just fine. I haven’t tested all of them yet, but so far so good.It’s the original version I watched as a little kid, English dub and all. Super nostalgic! I can’t wait to watch it all again. :) the original 1 season is easily the one every one always remembers, it got really fun as the story went on. But I always had a special spot in my heart for the tamers ark. It was such a more mature story compared to its counterpart Pokémon season at the time that it really left a mark and was impossible to find as a digital copy online. This was such a pleasant surprise to find the whole box set.

The first dvd in the first season was so scratched and by the time we got to the third dvd with the third season there wasn’t even any sound. On top of that some of the dvd cases were broken. Very disappointed. I’m only writing this now because I was busy during the holidays and January but people should be warned.

Love Digimon!!! Even bought the movie to go with it. Our kids love it too!

Though my product came as a new item the second disc of the furst season kept freezing amd stopping due to damage on the disc. I'm gonna try ordering a different one cause I've really wanted to add this collection from my childhood. Was sad to return it but I'll get another one later. It still brings me such joy to watch this and I want to own it to add to my "I don't need cable" collections.

Thought it was just the original series... this comes withSeason 1,2,3, & 4. Great price for an all in one collection.Looking forward to another box set?

So this is indeed the Saban English Censor Dub that I remember watching here in the US. It contains all the episodes for Adventure (1999), 02, Tamers, and Frontier. I'm pretty disappointed with this as the listed voice actors on the sales page were those of the original Japanese cast which had led me to believe that I would be getting the actual full Japanese audio version (hopefully with English Subs) of these shows. That is not the case unfortunately.Here is what you DO get with this set- Saban English Censor Dub (Music, Vocals, Intros, and Endings)- DVDs play at 4:3 aspect ratio- The DVDs themselves are Region 1 DVDs (Plays on universal players as well with no problems.)- Image quality is pretty clean/crisp, much better than I had expected- Episode select menu- The last disk of each season contains an image gallery for the corresponding season- Each season contains a physical pamphlet with images of the kids and the different forms of their Digimon- A poster of the image on the front of the case (All the kids from each season with their baseline partners)And here is what's missing- Original Japanese version (Music, Vocals, Openings, Endings, and Splashes)- Everything that was censored to make the show American child friendly- SubtitlesAll in all I am grateful to at least have this version of this series, as cringey as the Dub is at points. If you enjoyed watching the version we got in the states than you will be thrilled with this set. It is certainly brimming with nostalgia and leaves me yearning for the day I can see it as it originally was. Now I just have to find the movies...

Something is wrong with the DVD format. DVD player I've had for 8 years only played a few episodes of the first disc, then froze up. Same thing on the second disc. Bought a new DVD player thinking it went bad. New DVD player wouldn't even try to read the DVD. Said disc format not supported. Decided to try the PS5 and it played with no problem. Based on my own experience and reading other reviews, I would not recommend buying this set unless you already have a PS5
