This is my first using pulp riot, and I am very impressed with the gentle formula! I used sun-in (yellow version) to lighten my hair. I was my hair once or twice a week and used the sun-in treatment for a bit over a month, and my black hair was lightened to a medium brown. I ended up using about 3/4 of the pulp riot dye on my hair. This is a nice warm red and I received compliments from my family members (they usually don't say anything when I dye my hair). I let the dye sit on my hair for about 35 minutes and rinsed it out. There was no damage to my hair and none of that dreaded chemical smell. The formula does not exactly have a permanent stain on sinks/bathtubs, which is excellent. I did notice that there were some gloopy pieces but I assume that would probably be since I live in a climate that can get surprisingly warm then cold throughout the months. I will definitely be a returning customer!

So Ive been using pulp riot since the salon I went to told me its what they use. I love that is washes all out eventually and doesnt stain your blond. (Not that I would care if it did cause im never blond but it help when switching colors)I tried this red because the other reds were too purple or too orange. I want something in the middle! And this is it!! I saturated my hair and let it sit for like 2 hours.. I was doing chores with a cap n stuff ha ha. The color is great!! It fades into a more pale reddish auburn on my hair- my hair isnt platinum though! Maybe like 8 with some root growth.Plus side: you can keep the leftovers!!Ive tried several others and have loved all of them except yellow- but there is a new yellow so Ima try that n see.Def reccommend!Pics w/bathroom mirror light and a snapchat filter

I got my hair professionally bleached and dyed by a local stylist that used Pulp Riot Pyro and Countess, and she recommended that I purchase this to use at home so that I would save money and need to make the trek over to redye the same portion of my hair that had already been bleached.I really like the Pyro hair shade, it's perfect for a cool toned girl like me and has a beautiful undertone. Unfortunately, it does tend to fade quickly- as everyone knows, you should wash your hair in cold water/wash it minimally when you've dyed it! I just wasn't expecting to need to touch up on it every month or so for maintenance, it is a bit of a hassle. I will likely look for other brands that offer cool toned reds besides Pulp Riot, but as far as the price and quantity goes, this is a decent purchase.
