I don’t know that the bottom part would be so soft but the top is hard and closes well. It’s a cute bottle, perfect size for travel.

I got this to take honey with me in the go. Honey is quite messy and sticky so needed something like this. This little jar dispenses cleanly—yes be careful to not make a mess and you’ll be ok. The honey dispenses nicely and when you let go of squeezing the bottle it creates a back suction so the honey pulls back into the jar rather than dripping all over the cover and bottle. Cover snaps easily and securely preventing leaks. All that said be careful how your store it as the silicone is very squishy and the cap could pop open if say you throw it in your backpack. This is a perfect solution but if your gonna be rough with it I’d suggest putting it in a little sandwich bag with twist or zipper tie for added protection from leakage.

Sadly, these didn't work for my purpose. As travel containers for shampoo and conditioner, they leaked everywhere. Luckily, I had them in a cosmetic bag. I think they would work for condiments in a campervan sort of situation, but not rolling around in luggage.
