Cute and useful!
These bento boxes are super cute and useful. I got them as a gift for my boyfriend's mom and she loved them. They are plastic, but i believe that's how they are traditionally made anyway. These have held up well but I can see them breaking easily if dropped or hit the wrong way.

Great gift idea and tons of space
We love eating from Bento boxes and my family thinks they are great especially from restaurants. My father and his wife were obsessed with the ones they often get at their favorite restaurant and these were a close comparison. They are super sturdy and are the perfect size. The only thing that could be better is if the lid actually locked on so they could be a little stronger. Lovely design even for being a hard plastic.

I love the design and the fact that it stacks into a box so it keeps the clutter down in your cabinets. They are perfectly sized for lunches. They are sturdy and easy to clean.

GOT DAMAGED IN SHIPPING - OTHERWISE MIGHT HAVE BEEN A FUN PURCHASE
We purchased two sets as a gift as our friends needed six bento boxes. Unfortunately, they got damaged in shipping, so we don't actually know how well these would have worked out. Our friends said they seemed slightly smaller than other bento boxes, but looked as if they would be easy to clean. They seemed decently made. However, since our friends needed them for a specific date, we returned them, and there wasn't time to have a replacement sent. The boxes are a convenient way to set the atmosphere for a neat meal. While the outer cover for the top box looks a little cheap, the boxes themselves looked okay. There is only one cover for the three boxes per set, for those of you who are not familiar with bento boxes. The boxes stack on top of each other, and the single cover covers the stack.

My Japanese colleagues were very impressed with my Osechi! I used one of the layers for my stew. Definitely leakproof!

Beautiful!
Arrived fast, carefully packaged, no damage at all. The bento box top lid is beautiful. I ordered the 3 piece set and couldn’t be happier with the quality, price and shipment. Just hand wash gently and do not place in the dishwasher. Why would anyone? Will order from this seller again!

Super cute and functional
The bento boxes are very cute [just like pictured online] and they are also super functional for serving an entree and multiple sides at the same time. They are a bit smaller than I thought, but actually hold quite a bit of food, so it was not problematic. I choose to hand wash the inner trays because I'm not sure how they would do in a dishwasher. I like them! I would order them again.
