Great but not perfect.
We bough this for a commercial project and needed an overhead camera angle. The kit is built well and definitely worth the money. The only con for me was that we couldn’t lock down the mounts to our standard light stand. It was very wobbly and we made sure to warn everyone on set.

Great concept but for the price I was expecting a more quality product.
I’ve read the reviews here and many mentioned that the way in which the clamps and the pole are fitted could be better.I was hoping that those who were complaining were being too picky or over exaggerating.Unfortunately, I’m finding the pints made about the misfit to be accurate. I also think the Glide Gear OH 75 is of poor quality and not very well thought out.I don’t understand why the clamps are made in a way that doesn’t grip the pole firmly. It wouldn’t take much to change the shape of the clamp and add a bit of a rubber grip.For the price I would expect this item to show up without it having to be modified. But I had to throw some gaffers tape on the pole to get it to work properly. Otherwise it would slip or if tightened too much would damage the gear.I’m not happy with the product but I think with a bit of modifications the Glide OH 75 will be decent enough to keep.

Good but can be great
This is a great product if u do a lot of top-down photos. U can achieve the same thing in many ways but I found it really nice to use and very effective. I don't have a lot of time to set-up for my shoots so having something quick and sturdy makes a difference to my work flow.The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is just the little things. There are the screws to hold the top bar to the c stands could be slightly bigger to make it easier to fasten. And the screw to hold the camera to the bracket should be bigger too.

Great on a stable table
Easy to set up, but no matter how tight you get the upright supports if the table moves, the camera will shake. Great for photos, have to be careful to not shake the table if you’re making videos.

Great value and can easily be adapted for light stands
This is a fantastic value and I found that this adapter https://amzn.to/3mEh4Qv makes light stands compatible with this system. The supplied rail isn't super sturdy but it easily accommodates something studier. A little tape around the brackets softens and rugs the grips nicely. Don't let the bad review fool you - this can be easily adapted to something fantastic a variety of needs.
