Logical thinking
This looks like a great game. It was a gift so I am not sure how well he enjoyed it. It teaches them how to think logically. I love it

Really amazing game for kids - challenging, but not overly frustrating.
We bought this for our nephew, and he LOVES it! He spent hours trying to solve all the puzzles and went straight back to it the next day. It's a really clever puzzle setup, and it definitely puts your spatial reasoning skills to work. It also teaches resilience, because you HAVE to solve these puzzles by trial and error. Some can take a while and you'll have to start over a few times, but the solution is never terribly far away, so it doesn't get too frustrating that you quit. The adults in the room found some of the advanced puzzles to be challenging, as well, but our nephew developed to the point where he could solve them faster than any of us after a few hours of playing at it

Great quality game that will grow with the child
The game is lovely designed and well built. The gameplay is well thought out and with the different difficulty levels, it will grow with the child and hence last years.Smart Games games have become a favorite in our house and are also one of my go-to gifts for birthdays since they are educational AND fun and not a "one and done" toy. With the different themes/worlds, you'll also find something for every taste, for the dino lover to a fan of knights or animal friends, something for every taste that makes it easy to find a suitable gift. With that being said, I ordered this specific toy as a gift and it was shipped as is, no outer packaging around the product box. They shipping label was slapped on the product box, so my address was on the box. Fortunately I was able to remove most of the shipping label, with only a few lines of the barcode left, but it just doesn't look very nice. It fortunately was only a gift for my child, so it did not matter as much, but I hope the next Smart Game comes in an outer box, when I want to gift it to someone else.

Stranded on Dinosaur Islands
This product is well constructed and versitile. I really appreciate the premise of problem solving for 3-8 year olds. Younger 3-6 yr olds. Are more individual players and like independent exploration over competitive play, so this game is perfect. The pattern booklet from which the child is to view and solve each pattern...is small with 4 patterns per page. It is of a gloss print paper stock 4.5" squared. I can see this booklet getting worn and torn per play and scuffle. I suggest a more fabric oriented fiber booklet or spiral bound card gloss stock and the size of 6"x6" or bigger. Little eyes should be intrigued to master the puzzle objectives...without squinting. Again I love the easy to grasp dinosaur island sections and the strength of the material construction. Booklet could use an up grade.

Love These Games
I raised up my girls with SmartGames. This is one of the games they worked on in early ages. The good thing about these games is that it starts at easy levels and does not frustrate little kids. But it gets to very challenging, even for adults. I always let them solve the puzzle independently. For the some of challenges, they needed a break and return to the challenge on the second day. They are 8 years old now. Teachers and friends constantly comment on their logical reasoning abilities, which I can clearly see where they get from.
