Genuinely great
I was in need for a high refresh rate monitor but got bored of the same 27 inch so i decided to go with something new and this delivered a great picture quality, a fast 220hz refreshrate as well as a sturdy build that looks amazing

This looks spectacular, playing games on it is so good.

Very Impressive for Gaming
I had purchased a GTX 4090 GPU but had a HD monitor. I realised that having an HD monitor rather than a 4K one was limiting the potential of my high end GPU, and so I opted for this ASUS 27" 4K monitor.Have to say that I am very impressed. It has a 3840 x 2160 x 144Hz configuration and is simple to set up - plug and play. Windows 11 automatically updated the drivers for me.Perfect for games that have high end graphic capabilities.

Great picture
Lots of settings to customise. Most of the presents are rubbish though (they make colours completely inaccurate). I only really use the User Mode. sRGB mode can be useful in some scenarios. Thankfully in the user mode I can adjust the colour balance, gamma, brightness, and other settings to make the picture accurate. I wish there was the ability to save a few more user presents, rather than only having the one. Overall a good purchase. Lovely sharp 4K image, that can get very bright (make sure you lower the gamma to 1.8 when your room is very bright).

discoloration/Black and White Design fault
It has a design fault, having a new one sent out to you will not fix the problem.Playing at 3840x2160 @144hz causes this for meIt's really obvious on some games and with others, you can only see a subtle change if you flick your mouse left and right.I purchased a new DP 1.4 cable and that did not fix the issue. The only fix i came across was messing around with some settings on the OSD *on-screen display *In the System Setup I changed the DisplayPort Ver to DisplayPort 1.2 which automatically knocks your monitor down to 120hz.

Good In almost every way except for one...
So 4k - good resolution, bit overkill on 27 inch monitor can't tell a huge difference over 1440p but great for 4k SDR videosRefresh rate - 144hz, great - at 4k you will rarely need it unless playing a competitive shooter that can take advantage of the full 144 fpsSDR colour - really good, lots of colour gamut and works great for all except professional photography usesHDR - awful, 440 nits of brightness means the colour gamut is wide but it can't display HDR properly. Many times you may watch a film and images will look blown out or games will look washed out due to the low nits. Also the lack of local dimming means each image will fluctuate in brightness due to having to correct through the film. Honestly it's a crime that HDR400 exists VESA should be ashamed of approving this.Controls - ok control stick on the back ok, you can download a widget on screen so you don't have to keep reaching around to flick options but the lack of a remote makes this awkward if flitting between two different input signals (maybe between PC and PS5)Overall, great 4k SDR monitor, if HDR isn't a thing to you then you can do a lot worse than this monitor. But in 2024 with 27 inch OLED monitors coming out more at a similar price point why would you even go for this?My opinion is get a 1440p OLED monitor for a similar price. OLED will make this look archaic and the 4K at this scale is overkill. Don't make my mistake, Go for a good OLED monitor, something you can stick with for a long time. I'm already regretting my purchase and looking to go for OLED and or similar within the next year or so.

Misleading says 1440p but its 1080
It said in description its 1440p and i assumed it had hight refresh rate but it did not. Only with 1080 it has high refresh rate and value for money is not worth it and quality it just average.
