Fits Like a Glove!
I ordered a S/M and it fits well, but not enough to give compression but I'm okay with that because I wasn't looking for a compression glove. I wanted this glove primarily for my arthritic thumb. I haven't tried to freeze it, but it does get cold in the refrigerator and stays cold for about 10 minutes, which is good for me. The glove is a bit heavy because of the gel. It comes in a zip lock plastic bag which I use when I put it in the refrigerator to keep it clean. Overall, I'm very pleased with the glove.

Great for sore wrists
I knit A LOT and get sore joints and swollen muscles. This works very well to relieve the over use issues. I put it in the freezer and slip it on after I am done. Very easy and I don't have to try and wrap an ice pack around my hand and thumb. I have also used it after lab work that left a hematoma on my wrist and the swelling went down quickly and minimized the bruising. It worked so well I bought a second one.

It’s good if you need short icing sessions, but it doesn’t get super cold or last long.
Great for quick relief of mild-moderate pain. I have De Quervaine’s Tenosynovitis and this applies cold directly to the affected areas, my thumb and wrist needing it the most. This is a comfortable gel ice pack that fits snug without being too tight, but doesn’t stay cold very long-about 10 minutes. I only use this when a quick icing session is needed and use a different product for more severe pain/inflammation, which necessitates icing longer. If you need longer cold therapy sessions, I’d look for a different product.

This works! Read this to know HOW and WHY.
This is an excellent wearable coldpack for thumb, wrist and palm pain, especially De Quervain Syndrome and Trapeziometacarpal inflammation (including osteoarthritis). It is made of a stretchable thermogel with a lycra covering, making it easy and comfortable to wear and providing superb coverage of inflamed areas of the hand, wrist and thumb. Many reviewers complain that the cold doesn't last, but that is a common misconception when applying frozen thermogel. First, the instructions specify placing the glove in a -4ºF freezer for at least two hours (three or four hours is even better). Second, when applying thermogel frozen in a sub-zero freezer, the nerves in the skin quickly shut down so the shock of the cold rapidly diminishes and virtually disappears. This does NOT mean the coldpack has warmed up; it only means the wearer's sensation of the cold has greatly diminished. Moreover, one should never wear a coldpack for more than 10-15 minutes (20 minutes tops), and this glove maintains a therapeutic cold easily for 15-20 minutes (again, IF it is stored in a sub-zero freezer prior to use, as recommended). The design of the glove puts therapeutic cold around the bulk of the thumb and its base, as well as the palm and wrist. I have never seen a better cold-therapy appliance for Trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis. If properly chilled and applied, it can provide immediate relief from thumb pain that can last an hour or more (considerably more if one follows up the cold with immobilizing splinting). And the glove allows use of the hand while wearing because of its pliability. For those suffering from significant thumb, wrist or hand pain, a coldpack can be used every two hours during the day, so consider getting two of these gloves so that one can be freezing while the other is being used. A four-hour freeze yields superior cold therapy in such a scenario, and it can be maintained throughout the day by alternating every two hours. After a few days of repeated cold therapy, inflammation should be reduced so that function is largely restored ... with prudent, conservative use of the hand.Therapeutic alternatives for Trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis include cortisone injections and surgery. This cold glove is a much more bearable intervention and, if judiciously applied, can forestall resorting to either of those two options.A word also about use of this for heat: While thermogel can be heated in a microwave for heat therapy, it must be heated in brief 10-second increments until hot enough, and never more than 30-seconds total. Great care must be exercised to avoid burning one's hand when heated. Moreover, heat therapy provides a more temporary relief from inflammatory pain compared to cold therapy. Thus, I highly recommend using this glove only for cold therapy, after properly cooling in a sub-zero freezer.

Feels soft
Wish it wrapped all the way around. There is a seam without the icepack part on the side of my wrist where i need it most. Otherwise feels nice. Needs a whole day to really get cold each time

Great for both cold and heat therapy for my thumb/wrist areas
These gel wraps are the perfect solution to my being able to both Ice my thumb/wrist area and heat the area. I began with one pair, and keep those in the freezer. I've since bought a second pair that I heat in the microwave for morning pain. Note: these gel wraps stay cold longer than they stay hot. However, I just put them back in the microwave for 15 seconds and get additional warmth.

Very cold and super comfortable
The glove fit comfortably and after 2 hours in the freezer was almost too cold to wear. It stayed very cold for about 15 minutes which is exactly how long you are supposed to ice painful areas. I was able to move freely while wearing. I bought a 2 pack so I can leave one at work. VERY satisfied with this product for my De Quervain's tenosynovitis.
