I just recently got into baking sourdough bread. I was very surprised with the premium quality of this kit - all the tools I need to make a perfect and crusty bread loaf.The two plastic scrapers are very practical and handy to use both together to scrape and mix the dough. The stainless steel dough cutter makes it easy to cut through the dough. The stainless steel bread lame was a pleasure to use – made some nice scores on the top of my unbaked bread dough right before it went into the oven.Nice that a linen bread bag was included to store my crusty bread after it is finished.Special bonus for us that just started to bake, there is a simple and easy home-made bread recipe included to get inspired!I have not found such a complete bundle like this anywhere else.Very satisfied with my purchase. Will definitely get a second set as the perfect Christmas gift for my mother!

I have been under a lot of stress at my job in the last couple of months and was looking for ideas doing something relaxing when off the job. When I was little my grandma used to bake fresh bread for us at least once a week.After some searching I found this bread baking kit and like it a lot. The baskets are good quality, the baking mat is quite sturdy and big so it can be used not only for bread dough. I like the other bread baking accessories which come with the set, I could use them all, very practical.I also checked their home-made bread recipe – nice and simple - works.All in all, a very nice product for the price paid.

I started baking sourdough bread and I used towels in bowls for the final rise, what a mess!I am so pleased with these banneton baskets, and kit. It has every item you need for the perfect bread baking experience. The quality is very nice!

Using these as proofing baskets for sourdough bread

Got this for my husband and we both are impressed with the quality of the product. Nothing cheap about any of it

The actual rattan bowls have a stench and the wood started splitting after the first use. The Silicone mat is cheap, sticky and ripped on first use. I washed the liners and bread bags in cold water and they turned the water brown. Cutter is flimsy. Scrapers were okay. Blades and cutter are also garbage. I would return this all if I could.

The bag and two little things to put on top of the baskets have a terrible smell to them. I aired them out outside for a couple days, still didn't get rid of the smell. Wouldn't put my bread in it. The two baskets are pretty small but are okay. I would make sure to put flour all over them before putting any dough in otherwise it'll stick. The knife doesn't work well for me, it won't cut the bread dough deep enough and rusts fast. The blue mat is nice to knead on with the size chart on it and somewhat easy to clean. Overall wouldn't buy it again.
