Good initial impressions
Biggest upgrade: screen. Watch looks much more contemporary now with the all screen display. Crisp and clear.I was a bit skeptical of the absence of a home button but it isn't inconvenient without it. Always on display with the amoled screen would have been amazing! It's almost the perfect all round fitness band that is available today.Battery performance:I am using the following features and battery drains at about 9-10% per day1. heart rate monitoring every 1 min2. Stress monitoring per 5 min3. Treadmill Workout tracking for 25 mins4. No lift to wake (using swipe to wake)5. No sleep monitoring6. No call/notification7. Occasionally the breathing app.So the Battery should last for 8-9 days on this usage

Good but...
It is a feature rich fitness band and is value for money. Its interface is easy to use including its app. Screen is bright, accuracy is acceptable, Battery like is good also. But its strap looks very cheap, and it doesn't have contineous heart-rate monitor, minimum we can set is once per minute which reduces battery like to the half, that is only drawback.

Great
Watch itself is great runs smoothly with good battery life. Just don't expect it to last long as my older Mi band 5 didn't even last 2 months.

Does not retain Charge - Old product
In the past, I have used the original Mi Band (1), Mi Band 2, Mi Band 3 and Mi Band 4.For my 70th birthday last year my children presented me with a Fitbit Versa 3 (https://www.amazon.in/Fitbit-Fitness-Smartwatch-Battery-Included/dp/B08DFPV5Y2).As the Fitbit battery is getting weak and results are not reliable, I thought of going back to Mi Band which is much cheaper compared to a Fitbit.I would have preferred to buy a Mi Band 7, but it was not readily available and had to be imported. So I chose the next option, the Mi Band 6.I ordered the product on 22nd November morning and I received the product the same evening under some sort of same day delivery. When I received the product, the battery was in a totally discharged condition. It charged once and that night itself it totally discharged and would not charge again. So I asked for a replacement product and the replaced product came to me on 25th November. The battery could charge and I had set very aggressive settings for heart rate monitoring and sleep detection. I had to charge it two times in the same night as the battery could not keep charge.Later on, I gradually relaxed the aggressive setting and even then it would not last 24 hours. Then I did a factory reset of the device and left all settings to the default value. With these settings, the battery does not keep the charge even for two days. This product was first available in Amazon India on 29th April 2021. I suspect that because of the long time the product has been on the shelf; It has completely discharged the batteries. The battery is supposed to last for 14 days, and I remember from my earlier Mi bands experience they had a good battery life. This product should not have been for sale in the first place because they are defective. The time for me to claim a refund has expired and I am now stuck with this dud piece.Today I see that in Amazon this product is "currently unavailable".

Product is nice, defective piece received
The product is very good, been using since 3 years now, bought this new one to gift it to my brother but unfortunately received defective piece. Battery draining fully in less than 5 hours. The seller is also good, bought several items at good bargain price from him. This time turned out to be bit bad luck. Initiated return. Thanks anyway.

Poor battery life kills it
I have had the Mi Band 4, 5 and now the 6. The only reason I got the Band 6 was because I dropped the previous one in the metro. The display, step tracking, heart rate monitor & the SpO2 monitor are good, as was the Band 5. The sleep tracking is a lot better in this than the previous models. But what kills the Band 5 and is extremely annoying is the poor battery life. When I first got the band, I'dcharge it on the morning and it would be dead by evening. In fact I exchanged the first band but the next was no different. An hour after a full charge it would be when you 70%. After 2 days, it started to last the entire day but it's still pathetic compared to ta Band 5. That lasted at least 4 days, while the band 6 for only a day and a half. I charged it don't yesterday at 7 am. Todayat 5.30 am it's down to 56%. I'll be forced to charge it on the evening. I don't see this improving any further as I've had this for a couple of weeks now. I loved the Band 5 while the Band 6 makes me feel like throwing it away

Unusable due to battery issues - Mi exchanges band under warranty
Updating the review. Went to the Mi store and the mi band 6 was exchanged without any questions asked as the previous product had a defective battery. The new piece i recieved doesn't have any battery issues and i see the battery lasting a good 15 days now.<Previous review below>Bought this band about a month back. The battery life of the product I received is pathetic.I had read online about battery calibration needed as it's a software issue and not really a bettery issue. Had seen quite a few videos about how to recalibrate the battery. Tried all those steps multiple times but to no avail. No amount of 0-100 charge cycles solved the issue for me.The battery lasts only 5-6 hrs !! And this is with all notifications turned off and heart rate monitoring set to least rate of 30 mins.Very disappointed with the product that despite all these efforts, the battery is a bummer.
