Phanteks PH-LEDKT_Combo: RGB LED Strip Combo Set - Retail Cases

Holy crap bright! I love that you can daisy chain these strips, plugging one end into the other.I built my wife a custom gaming PC and she is all about RGB LED's and these are awesome. My one complaint is that the white is a touch on the cool side, but i can't even bring myself to deduct a star for that. Bear in mind however, that there is no standard for RGB interfaces as of yet. On the MSI motherboard that my wife uses, the red and blue connections that go onto the RGB motherboard header are backwards from what they are on the cables.You can work around this by doing a bit of thinking while playing around with the colors in mystic light but if it bothers you too much, you can rearrange the wires at the clip if you have a decent pick and some time to kill. It works flawlessly with my ASUS motherboard.The light strip is encased in a high quality silicone and while the magnets aren't exactly the strongest, they are held in place rather well. If all else fails, some double stick tape will take care of any issues with that. Fantastic quality product from Phanteks.

Initial quality is very good - Time will tell how these hold up. I installed this strip in a Phenteks Enthoo Evolv TG case. The magnets hold the strips well enough that i did not use the adhesive backing.I wish the cable lead was a little bit longer, but i was still able to make it work.My biggest comment is that these are incredibly bright, even behind tinted glass like in the Enthoo Evolv TG. Right now i have them in the front, and I think I will move the strip to the back, because the light is just TOO bright.I would buy again, adds some flavor to your case for a reasonable price - and plugging them into the LED leads included in Phanteks cases makes install super easy.

Pros: Excellent Color uniformity, brightness and vibrancy, it really does light up the interior of the enthoo luxe beautifully, and matches the exterior lighting perfectly. It's a pretty good price as well for an led strip, and it's well integrated into the enthoo luxe, with a very seamless install process.Cons: the included 3M adhesive is rubbish, as in, complete rubbish. I'm docking a star for this factor alone, as it peels very easily. It's an easy fix with your own double sided tape, but it was quite annoying, and stood out like a sore thumb compared to how excellent everything else was.Neutral: in my case, the 2 metre cable was simply too long. I could have run the led strip up near the front fan, but I would have lost some of the lighting in the main chamber. I'm pretty sure you can trim the lights, but I managed to make it work. Not a deal breaker by any stretch, but YMMV depending on how you want to mount the led strip. Not fully RGB, but really, neither is the enthoo luxe, so that's aimed more at the luxe than the led strip.Overall it ended up looking quite clean, with the strip only being visible as it disappears behind the motherboard tray near the top radiator mounts. If I actually populated that with a 240mm or 280mm radiator, then it would probably be hidden. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out and it's basically made led lit interiors a requirement for me in the future. I've included a few images of the system with the LEDs installed, in 3 of the colours, and one without the led strip installed.

Great 1m RGB LED light strip. Works well with MSI mystic, asus aura or if you have a phanteks case like the Enthoo Evolv you can just plug in the provided 12v cable and control the lighting from the front of the case. I personally have tried is with MSI Mystic but prefer the simplicity of using the default phanteks case button.The strip gives you the option of utilizing an adhesive strip (provided) or the magnets that come embedded inside the strip. I love the magnetic aspect since I feel adhesives over time and at some stage you will have an dangling led strip in your case which is not the best look.Overall this is a great led strip. The price ranges from $15-$22 and if you are fortunate to grab it at the low end of the cost spectrum than it is an amazing buy. Even at $22 its still great. The build quality seems to be pretty high but the only thing I have read in other reviews is aggressive bending or twisting can actually snap the rubber of it. I did not experience this myself however I can see how this could happen since the rubber surrounding the led is very thick and has a hard time fitting into certain crevices.Below are just some photos of two colors. I believe in total there are 10 different colors to switch to.

They are very bright and seem to be made of very good and sturdy quality. They connect to the extra rgb connection of my Phanteks 400a case. As far as adhesion, I gave that 3 stars because the magnets aren't strong enough to hold upside down - and you have no choice but to use part of it upside down due to the length. The sides and bottom hold just fine. So for the top part, I purchased some cheap, strong magnets right here on Amazon and I placed one under the top side of the case and then the magnets were able to hold on tightly. Problem solved.
