If I could give it zero stars I would. This is the second time in one year that I’ve purchased this same charging cable and within months it stops working. Of course now I’m past the return window and there is no option to speak to the maker but just know that you’re not getting a good quality charger.

My Lenovo laptops and my use seems to be an issue with chargers. This is my third charger and works perfectly. For the price I can't argue with the lifespan as I do use it daily.I have taken an older charger apart at the USB-C end and I found broken wires are the cause of failure. Evidently, my use and or starage causes bending that area too much and the repeated action causes the break. I'm also an Andorid user and this doubles as my phone charger when I travel. Can you imagine a world where one day we all use the same charging port? I know a fantasy.

After the power cord shorted out and melted on my Lenovo laptop, C940-151RH, I was thrilled to find a replacement on Amazon. I didn’t even mind paying a small shipping fee of $2.99 to get it via overnight delivery! Its situations like these that make me a lifelong Amazonian! For comparison, I found the same product at Best Buy for twice the price and I wouldn’t have gotten it for 8 days.

Update to below. I bought another one of these adapters on January 9, 2022. It failed today, April 28, 2022. This is the second one to fail. I noticed at EOD yesterday that the adapter was very hot. I leave it plugged into the wall outlet during the day and use it with the PC probably 2-4 hours during the day. I will not purchase another of these. See original comment next.I purchased this adapter / charger in mid October of 2021. It quit working completely and unexpectedly on January 8, 2022. I got just less than 3 months of usage out of it. For clarity, I am a consultant who uses by backpack as my portable office - so to speak. Thus, this charger would be used during the day and packed into the backpack at the end of the day. That said, I carefully checked for damaged wiring and found nothing. Bottom line is that for the price it worked well. However, if the charger fails every 3 months or so, I will switch to something else. I have purchased a second of these chargers to see how long this replacement will last.

Bought this for my Mom's Chromebook, and started using for my Lenovo when my replacement charger came apart (poor quality.) - Surprisingly this charger outlived the one I had by about five months! But alas it stopped working a week ago. It could be the fact that I had to wrap and unwrap it for transport so often that the inner wiring could not handle the repetitive bending.Overall though, I feel it outlasted my expectation given the price of it and probably would have worked longer if I had used it strictly for home.I say it is a good, "I need a replacement now" charger. It charged my laptop quickly and didn't seem to over heat and as I said probably would have lasted longer if I hadn't wrapped it to take to work everyday.Go ahead and spend your money on it if ya need it!
