ONLY Buy approved SD card.
Works really well. You need special, approved SD card. I wasted money on 2 standard SD cards, each gave me issues after a couple of weeks. before I purchased the approved one, and it's been working for over a year.

Great small dash cam for a reasonable price
This cam provides a nice image and was easy to install. For my application the power cable was plenty long and everything worked great right out of the box. There are a few videos out there that will help you pick the best settings to optimize your performance, and I recommend checking those out.

Second one I have bought. Great value. Very sturdy. Not the highest quality but good nonetheless. Footage is legible.

Arrived well packed with many accessories.
It is a used camera, but it came well packed to the point of even having a lens protector.They sent it out with extra mounting adhesive and bases in case i messed up installation, and supplemented and missing parts such as the 12v-5v adapter, and even included wire routing clips.Bought 2 for my car sides and they work great, my brother now has one in his car and it also works great.Great deal for a used dashcam.

The video is awesome
I had an older 1080p that was terrible at night. This one is so much better at night and with polarizing filter (too much dash reflection without it) is great during the day too. Filter stays on all the time.

Hit or miss on the refurbished (renewed) ones
Purchased two refurbished units on the same day. One worked great but the other has multiple issues: Intermittently won't turn on, turns on but turns itself back off again after a few seconds. Sometimes records, sometimes not. On occasion, it resets itself to factory settings. Anyway, you get the idea.I spent too many days trying to test and troubleshoot and reset the camera and tried again so I missed the return window. Don't let this happen to you. If you notice something weird, return it promptly.
