Q: Having a hard time determine from the images how the o ring goes on? My drain lid needs some height to drain.

Bernkot shower drain is height adjustable by thread adapter not O-ring.The O-ring could help secure drain to flange without water-leaking and protect mortar from falling down to pipe.

Q: Does this drain come with a bonding lug?

Q: Will this drain work with a 12 inch shower head. I dont water to back up?

The size of the shower head doesn't matter. The flow of water into the shower may. If your plumbing is clear the water will drain. If you already have a problem with your plumbing the drain you choose will not make it better.

Q: how can I raise the shower drain to be even with the shower floor...do you have extra pads for it ?

The linear drain sits (connects) to a subdrain. The shower floor is floated with floor cement (deck mud) to achieve the right height. Make sure you water test the shower pan, and drain. Hope this helps.
