Very pleased with this purchase. We looked for many months and finally decided on this à la carte table for several reason including price, style and size. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to read. The butterfly leaf works perfectly converting the table from a 42” round to a 60 x 42” oval. The color and finish are what we expected.

Very happy with this table. Right size, nice finish and very sturdy. It will be perfect for my needs.

This is a heavy, good looking piece of furniture and very easy to assemble.

This table matches the color of my IKEA chairs perfectly. The table is solid and sturdy and assembly was quick. The table top arrived a day before the base arrived. The company did respond quickly when I inquired about the tracking info for the base. Once the table was assembled, and we extended it to the oval shape, we found that the leaf did not fit perfectly on one side, and it will not close flush. The holes do not line up with the pins for a flush closing. The hole seems to be lined with metal and can’t be drilled to create a larger hole. This does not prevent the table from being used when extended to the oval shape, but there is a gap on that side of the leaf because the table will not meet all the way flush. I contacted product support on the company’s website about this problem. As of this posting, I have not heard back from them. There was also a hairline crack on the table top. It’s not as bad as some others I have seen posted here and it is livable to be honest. I’m more bothered by the leaf, not sitting flush when the leaf is in use.

After remodeling my kitchen with wood floors I purchased this to offset the colors. I was amazed at the ease of putting it together. It took two of us 20 minutes. The ingenious butterfly leaf is what sold me. I don’t need to find a place to store the leaf. It takes getting a little used to working it but worth the time spent. The quality is good. Not compressed wood. I also bought the chairs to match

arrived broken but didn't know it because we couldn't assemble until a month later. Surgery and other complications. Seller, OJ Commerce said too bad, even though the 30 days had not expired. They said check with East WestEast West wasn't too responsive since they are a reseller for China and said it was OJ's problem, but East West has a 6-month warranty that covers defective products, not wear and tear. If the products are damaged during transit, it will be the seller’s responsibility.This is the info that I sent: "We were not able to unpack and assemble the table until yesterday (2-5) because my wife had spinal surgery (1-9) and I have a mobility problem (87 yrs old). Two carpenter friends of ours started to assemble the table yesterday only to discover one side of the wooden movable track was broken. Consequently, the table will not close. Apparently, the tabletop carton was damaged in shipment...probably dropped although there was no apparent carton physical damage. We wonder if a replacement wood tract is available unless you have some other remedy in mind. I don't believe we need a replacement top as our carpenters are attempting to repair the damage. By the way, the table is perfect for application...very well made. Hoping to hear from you".East West still doesn't understand, all we wanted was a replacement part in case the repair failed, and we would pay for it.Two poor companies to deal with...very disappointed. Everyone passing the buck.

I have no real complaints here. I loved that it matched my chairs perfectly which I did not want to replace. I did freak out for a few days as the base of the table arrived a few days before the actually table but when I looked in my list of orders, it had it listed as being delivered even though I was well aware that it was arriving in 2 separate boxes. I just didn't expect it to arrive several days apart so be aware that that's possible if you order it. Other than that - I would definitely say this is a great deal and a well made item. Mine looks very nice.

UPDATED - The vendor contacted me and offered to replace the damaged table top without having to return the damaged one. The customer service was great and communicated with me almost daily. They sent a replacement that is beautiful. They just asked me to keep the damaged one for 45 days in case the shipper wants to see it. I appreciate the communication from them and the customer service that I received.The pedestal arrived on Friday and the table to arrived on Tuesday.The table top has damage on the edge apparently from being dropped.The packaging inside the box was out of place and looked shaken up. The pictures are after I tried to sand out some of the rough edge where it was smashed.The damage is pretty significant but the table is too big and too heavy to try repackage it and return it so I am going to have to live with it. There is also a split joint under the table at one of the bolts that was already put together. It looked like it was over tightened.
