Pillows are a difficult item to buy in that people's comfort is very subjective. I have gone through 4 or 5 different types of pillows over the past few years, but ultimately ended up with my neck hurting. Although so many pillows feel wonderful at the store, it's really evaluating them over the test of time that is the bottom line criteria. At this point, I have been loving them for the past 3 months or so.Recently Wirecutter did an article on recommended pillows. Although I did not take their recommendation, I learned a few things to evaluate when looking for a pillow. The fact that the technology behind Purple pillows is so different appealed to me and seemed promising.I originally ordered the medium height but found that was a bit too high for me, and so I exchanged for the low height. Cannot speak highly enough about them. I can comfortably position my shoulders/neck/head while on my back or on my side and still feel the pillow supporting those areas that don't directly press against the pillow.The one concern I initially had upon opening the pillows was the strong smell. I read in a few places that it is recommended to allow time to air them out. I was skeptical, but removed the pillows from their cases and laid them out on the backs of chairs. Just to note, the inner portion of the pillow is a sort of silicone honeycomb pattern. The outside case is thick and padded with memory foam. The pillows are a bit heavier in weight than anything I had previously experienced.I had a fan on them at high speed for at least 2 days before I began to see a change. It may have taken a bit longer than the 2 days but, with Amazon's 30 day window of return, I was willing to take a chance. It has all worked out very well. As a matter of fact, if anything, the extra weight of the pillows keep them i place on my bed as I move around during the night. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PILLOWS AND THANK THE PURPLE PILLOW COMPANY FOR A GREAT PRODUCT.

I’ve had my Purple Harmony Pillow for 13 months now, and shocker—it still doesn’t suck. I don’t know what kind of sorcery they put in this thing, but it holds up like a champ. No weird lumps, no flattening, no waking up wondering why my neck hates me. My fiancé caved and got one a month after I did because he kept “borrowing” mine. Now we both sleep like royalty—just less crowns, more drool.Let’s talk money: we used to drop $20–$30 on pillows a few times a year like it was some kind of sad subscription to discomfort. They’d get gross, lumpy, or mysteriously vanish into the closet of shame. So yeah, spending $199 on a pillow that actually lasts? We did the math—it’s cheaper in the long run, and you don’t wake up feeling like your spine took a wrong turn.I’ve got the standard height—it’s perfect. My fiancé got the tall one because he used to sleep with two pillows like he was building a pillow throne. I tried his once and nope—felt like I was sleeping on a memory foam mountain. But hey, to each their own. He loves it. I love mine.If you’re tired of your pillow having the lifespan of a banana, just buy this already.

When I tell you this pillow saved my husbands sanity….that’s 100% true!! He had a neck and head injury about 10 years ago and he hasn’t had a good night sleep since then. He has neck pain and headaches every morning. Very restless sleep and difficulty getting comfortable. We have spent hundreds of dollars on pillows and supports, all for naught. This pillow has changed all of that. He hasn’t had neck pain in the mornings since the first night with the pillow. It has stayed fluffy and comfy. He says he feels like he’s sleeping on a cloud. He loves it so much that we dug deep in our pockets and bought the mattress!

The purple pillow is one of the greatest, adjustable and provides an outstanding sleep quality. My biggest appraisal for this item is that it DOES help with neck pain, and headaches. I've noticed a HUGE difference from my old pillows to this pillow. BUT my biggest problem with this pillow, is that it still runs pretty hot when you lay on it.I do want to make aware that the item is made with outstanding quality, firmness, and the ability to wash it.

I have been using a standard low pillow for about a year. I found that I spend alot of time side sleeping and the low pillow was not quite up to the job for that but was perfect when on my back. I decided to get a king medium pillow and it just arrived. It seems alot higher than the low pillow but feels good when I lay on my side 😂 hope this works out.

Got this pillow for my mother-in-law after she kept ‘borrowing’ the one I got for her daughter (aka my better half). She loved it so much, I was starting to worry she’d move in just to sleep on it. Crisis averted—she has her own now and sleeps like a baby. 10/10 pillow, 0/10 for keeping your stuff to yourself.

I really wanted to love this pillow, but it just didn’t live up to the hype—or the price tag. It has a cool honeycomb outer layer and that signature gel-like Purple feel, but I got the king size with medium fill and it’s way too flat for me. It’s also weirdly heavy, which might be why it feels so low once your head’s on it. If I splurge on a pillow again, it won’t be this one. Three stars for effort, but not a repeat purchase.

The purple pillows are AMAZING. We bought medium loft and we already have a high loft. My only complaint is these feel flatter or thinner than I’d expect a medium loft. I was hoping for a step down from the high loft, but this was a gigantic step down. They look medium loft but when you lay on them they flatten a lot.
