Our dog, Callie just turned 12 and have never been a barker unless the doorbell rang. Now this has become a problem, especially at night if she NEEDS to go out. We’ve cleaned up a few overnight accidents in the last few months and hopefully this will do the trick! Tested it out and cannot believe I only discovered this gem two days ago! —>Bravo! for those who use this for dementia patients. We didn’t come up w/the right keyword search at the time we needed something like this. It could have helped us with my dad who would get up in the night. The one time my mom didn’t wake, he fell and is now in the Vets home. I noticed it sensed my head before my foot when vertical.Turning it —- horizontally works better for the lower, shorter 4-legged target.I stood it on the floor, by the door, where in the night, Callie stands—silently, and stares, through half blind eyes, at the door that won’t open telepathically. :o( We kept the doorbell sound for now and plugged it in just outside our bedroom door. Night #1-no ding-dong, but no pee-pee in the house! I will update this review after a few weeks of it doing its job.The real test will be when I am at work and my husband is working remotely downstairs in his office. At least three times, our silent avenger has interrupted a Zoom only to stare…silently…at the dada…who apparently cannot read doggo minds. Aaaand…she peed. All he needs to do is move the dingdong plug-in downstairs with him and crystal ball!!! Yes, ladies, if we were in his place, we wouldn’t need this during the day! Y’all know it’s true.*If anyone knows of a product that can get a healthcare IT manager to go back to face to face, in office work days…please tell me!! :o)Yes, Jan. 2020 - present is a looong time to be home- and yet she still peed 3 times on his watch…hmmmmmm….****(4HUGE ENVRONMENTAL STARS) BC I DIDN’T HAVE TO WRESTLE hermetically sealed parts, fastened to plastic brackets, or use a sawzall to open the packaging!- - Seriously…and sidebar…if gov’t put the onus on manufacturers for their excessive overuse of packaging, consumers wouldn’t bear the guilt burden of throwing their excess into the recycle bin IF IT IS EVEN RECYCLABLE AT ALL!

Supposedly, you can select different output sounds. No matter what I selected, it always went back to the default "Ding-Dong" sound. I decided to settle for the default sound, thinking that it was better than nothing. Ater about 15 minutes I got nothing. It seems the receiver quit receiving signals from either of the two transmitters. THEN... I was unable to return the defective item. Of course, my refund was pending the return of the defective item. I made four trips to the UPS Store with three different Amazon-generated QR codes. The codes would scan, but the transaction would not go through. Amazon finally (after two chat sessions with Customer Service) came through with a refund. I don't know if the issue with the return was with Amazon or the seller, but previous to this, I've never had any problem with Amazon with returns and refunds.

I've struggled for years to get a decent door chime solution for my wife's salon, with the common denominator being that I always got a door sensor-based solution for the problem. That's the kind where you put a piece on the door frame, and another on the door. I think there's a reed switch, a magnet, a transmitter, and a battery. Maybe because of the commercial doorframe fitment, those solutions were never as reliable as we needed them to be.All of that led me to the Fosmon WaveLink Door Chime Driveway Alarm Guard Wireless Motion Sensor (500 Feet, 58 Tunes, 5 Volume Levels, LED Indicators) Motion Detector Home/Business/Store Entrance Alert (1 Receiver + 2 Sensor). I mounted the sensor on an archway near the front door, and put the chime box about 40 feet down the hall. If my concerns with using a PIR-based solution were that there'd be false or missed alerts, I haven't seen any yet. Further, I love that the unit uses AAA batteries, which are more convenient and economical for me than CR2032s that previous solutions have used.If I have any issues, like poor battery life, I'll update this review with my findings. For now, though, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Highly Recommended

Product didn’t come with batteries as advertised. Unable to get this resolved through Amazon.

We placed this in the light on the front porch. The receiver was placed in the back of our house. The alarm goes off when ever someone is on the front porch! No more missed packages! Anyone steps on the porch I hear an alarm and run to the front door. I love this alarm! East to set up and works well. This was so worth the investments.

We have this on the front door of our business with chime in the back room, it works great to alert us if someone comes in.
