A little daytime drama - good typically predictable plot but felt resh since it is set on the set of a soap. Actors are good and fun to watch.Love For real - I didn't expect to love this one as much as I did. 2 lead girls go on a dating show. With lots of funny comments. It was way more amusing than I expected. The plot is of course predictable. The main lead actress is not our favorite but really fit the part and the balance with the more fun secondary lead couple really made this fun. No surprise both women get their man in the end.Both movies are Family friendly despite the settings for the plot seeming like they would not be. Grade A for both. We will watch multiple times and bonus for them both being on one cd.

The theme of these two movies is TV shows. In A Little Daytime Drama you have a couple who has broken up but they have to work together on a show. It is interesting to see them managing to appreciate each other again after their former misunderstandings. I have not watched a lot of soap operas in my life and really there was very little to do with the soap opera that is being filmed. Most of this movie focuses on the relationship between the two main characters. Maggie goes all out to convince Darin to be on the show again. Since he is her ex boyfriend it is really a humbling experience.I really enjoyed Love For Real because it is about a reality dating show and they kept things pretty innocent. Most of the movie was about two girls and how they got what they wanted out of life in love and work. You have a fashion designer who thinks the show is the perfect opportunity to show off her clothing line. And you have her best friend who thinks if she places second on the show she'll go on to greater things on TV. If you like to see a few girls getting a little catty and love the idea of women fighting for a man's attention then this may amuse you to no end. There are several unique plot twists that I enjoyed and I loved that the movie ends with happily ever after for two women. Hayley and Bree are really a trip - all their scheming seems to pay off! I look forward to watching this again.These are about PG 13 for the most part. There is a little kissing and that is about it. :) There is one part where a woman is in a bathing suit but it is fairly modest on a beach.~The Rebecca Review

I love Ryan Paevey movies! Daytime Drama, is great , but wish it was coupled with a different movie, or another one of his. At the time this was the only choice.
