MagicW 20 Pair 4 Pin 4P JST SM Connector Male to Female JST SM Plug Connector Cable for RGB LED Light Strip 5050/3528

These plugs worked perfect. I am making a DIY LED light for under the counters in the kitchen and they did the job.

I ordered several batches of these, the newer batches are wired reverse, and not how the product photo shows, with black wire top most and blue bottom. now we have to rewire a huge project, or try and find original wiring layout from someone else. quite frustrating. hopfully did not cause too much damage.

Works great, unfortunately came across one that the cable was jumping the connection on one of the plugs. Besides that works great.

Works like a charm. And stays connected too. Can't ask for more than that.

I have two data points about the wire gauge:(1) I have some proper 3-pin JST pigtails (ASIN B0761KCHLX), with 22 AWG on the insulation. Visually, those wires have literally 2-3x more copper than these MagicW 4-pin pigtails.(2) With a caliper, my 22 AWG wires measure for a diameter of around 0.6mm (as it should be), while these squeeze in at around 0.3. To be charitable with my margin of error, I'll call it 0.4mm which is 26 AWG.If you plan to use these connectors for power, rather than data, take a good hard look at the ampacity of 28 AWG wire. Odds are, your current will melt the insulation, and set your project on fire.Also, the wires on these 4-pin JST pigtails are unrated, with nothing printed on the insulation. Who knows what voltage or temperature the insulation is good for? One can only hope.I gave more than 1 star because if you just need a bunch of 4-pin connectors for low-power applications, these were delivered quickly and in roughly the right quantity (I didn't count). But this item really needs to advertise the true gauge in the description.
