I'm a professional pet portrait artist so I usually buy expensive artist pencils, but I saw the beautiful colours in this set and couldn't resist! I'm so glad I purchased them, they are creamy to use and blend like a dream the variety of beautiful colours are just stunning. They come packaged in a strong sturdy zipper case. The 3 different sketchpad are great quality too, along with the tutorial and other information on the pencils. You even get a little swatch that you can try all the colours out on. As you can see I cannot rave about them enough!!! 5 stars easy!! Buy them you will not target it!

There is no mistake that Castle Art products are high class and budget friendly. These particular pencils have all the star quality of their other products. Beautiful pastel shades with plenty of pigment to lay down. They blend like butter. I have many of their pencils, pens, paints etc and have never been disappointed. The quality is superb and I have to say their customer service matches their products. I recently had a slight issue with a case to hold the pencils, it was a gift for my friend so I wanted it right. Some of the text was missing on the front of the case. I contacted customer services and it was immediately rectified. You can’t get better than that.Thank you Castle Arts for all you do for your customers

Good range nice to use.

An excellent set of pencils to use as an addition to a set with more mainstream colours, but not a set that would be the best as a primary set. Lovely pastel shades that can be used to make a section of your pieces stand out and for lovely floral compositions, delicate sky tones and portraits. Good also for smooth gradations and transitions. Found one or two of the pencils slightly scratchy, but very minor complaint really. Very good value for the money.

Beautiful soft colours to set the right tone for anything you colour. I love how I can create soft backgrounds and in general create coloured pictures with the right touch of pastel to it. It blends well with my Premier PrismaColour pencils as well as the Castle Art Gold series.Only thing that it shorts is a handle on the pencil case. Pencil case very sturdy and durable but could have done with a handle on the spine of the pencil case.

They are good quality pencils which I've included for their blendability and colour palate which my other colour pencils are lacking slightly. They are very good value for pastel colours. They have a softness which you can use with other colour pencils in my collection.
