Classic Fragrance - Great Value
I have used this ORIGINAL Gentleman fragrance since 1974. This a lighter version, but even better than the original. It has an elegant scent and the patchouli is a classic. It has great longevity and smells great after 8 hours.

Been using for decades.
While in London, I noted the fragrance of a close friend. (Do guys ask each other what that cologne is they’re wearing…? - oh well). So he told me and showed me. Bought some and had too many compliments, so I used it more sparingly. Didn’t stop the compliments. Figured “oh well, guess I’ll just have to live with it.” Not every person can wear the same fragrances, as it seems to change from person to person. This cologne works for me and I will not change. So try it and see if it fits your chemistry. NOTE: It might cost more, but it lasts along time; a long time on your body, and a long time in the bottle. Thanks Givenchy!

One of my favorites
It’s a classic for a reason…. It’s a fresh and bright take on a patchouli heavy scent and it’s perfect for any mature man. It’s more of a dressed up or polo shirt fragrance and is signature scent worthy as it’s something that could be worn year round in my opinion. Out of all of my collection which consists mostly of designer and niche fragrances it’s one of my cheapest, and definitely in my top ten. It projects extremely well and is a beast mode fragrance lasting well over 8 hrs.It’s also worth noting that this is the original Givenchy Gentleman, not Gentleman Givenchy. I haven’t tried the latter but I’ve been told it’s actually a reformulation and therefore a different fragrance from this one.

Vintage fragrance
I use to wear this in the 70's and loved it. . Fragrance is the same, but for some reason this fragrance didn't last long when applied.

I was in search of the classic Givenchy men's cologne that I remembered from the past. Of course, it's difficult to shop for fragrances online but I thought I'd give it a try. This has the same name as the classic scent of the past but a different and weaker aroma. Probably worth what I spent but I won't buy it again. If something is broke, why fix it! Bring back the classic scent and you'll sell a lot!
